Apple Studio Display 2 Code Hints at 120Hz ProMotion, HDR, A19 Chip
Cant imagine there would ever possibly be a market for a very high end pro display XDR that also doubles as the least powerful mac. If it was M4 Ultra then that could be a convincing product as a true imac pro, or I could see an argument for putting TVOS on it, but as an A19 mac it would be next to

Pro Display XDR — is it still worth it in 2025?
Never had a Pro Display XDR myself, and honestly, I wouldn’t buy one at this point. Like you said it's six years old, and since then Apple has put better displays in the MacBook Pro and now even has that ridiculously beautiful OLED panel in the iPad Pro. Personally, I’d give the ASUS ProArt Display

My feedback to Microsoft regarding HDR
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchl50ecf3c4/mac "Note: These options only appear when you’re using Apple Pro Display XDR, Apple Studio Display, a 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later) or a 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later)." A 16inch MacBook Pro from 2021 goes for less than 900 euros

Open Letter to Engineers, Manufacturers, and Tech Companies
Really amazing OnePlus helped. I have tried speaking to Apple numerous times at different levels and only ever get “We cannot discuss anything beyond what is publicly available on the technical specifications page.” No willingness to troubleshoot beyond the obvious stuff like “have you tried turning

M5 Max MacBook Pro + XDR Display: Worth the upgrade?
No what I mean is the ProDisplay XDR is missing a bunch of features on those Sony displays (like SDI or even HDMI inputs for direct feed, scopes, adjustable LUT, etc), but those people had no clue about that because they only learned of the comparison from Apple's marketing materials. Similarly, the

CaptureOne Puget Benchmark
It’s shocking to me how bad c1 performance is with higher res screens. I have an m3u + Pro Display XDR and the lag with just creating a radial mask is a joke.

Studio Display XDR Owners: Thoughts so far?
It’s funny. I didn’t like the nano texture on the Pro Display XDR as much, because it was more noticeable. But it’s quite good on this monitor and the MBP. That makes me less bothered that I didn’t buy the Pro Display XDR in the first place. I’d appreciate the 32-inch 6K, but I do like how integrate

Apple’s 2026 "new" Studio Display is a middle finger to every consumer.
Just casually waiting for Apple to drop a new Studio Display, I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing the 120Hz being casually flagged around as a sign of achievement and highlighted for the Pro Display XDR. I had to double check just to be sure..

Looking for a monitor good for gaming pc but also for a Mac if possible
It’s awful to find a HDR capable high density LCD display today. The only options are discontinued Pro Display XDR and the new Studio Display XDR, both are pretty bad for windows usage.

Is anyone actually waiting for the new Pro Display XDR?
Maybe for me, I am in a bit of a dilemma as I think I want a new 32” monitor as my new screen for the next several years. But I need one to work with Mac and Windows. Also I want a very nice well built monitor. I have considered the Kuycon and it is priced good enough, but I question its quality? I
