What 32-inch glossy monitors are currently available that can match the brightness and contrast of Macbook Pros?
The pro display XDR I believe is one of the few. First of all 4K is not going to be as good as the pixel density on the MacBook Pro but if you’re targeting just 4K, I would probably look into a good mini LED monitor. The issue is that the MacBook Pro has a huge number of dimming zones on a very smal

My Experience with the Kuycon G32P
Writing this whilst using my G32P... Really loving this monitor, absolutely no issues with it and the only monitor that I'd say can visually compete with this is the Apple Pro Display XDR. I've tried the new LG 6k monitor but the matte coating completely ruins the display and makes it look dull and

Best Monitor for Macbook?
A 27 inch 5k monitor. That would match the ppi of the Apple Studio Display and Pro Display XDR. It’s ideal 2x retina scaling.

Apple's Pro Display XDR Is Six Years Old Today
6years later there is still nothing in market at similar price and spec for brightness and resolution as Pro Display XDR.

681: The Price of Your Nightmares
Are there 6k 32 inch monitors on the market today that are better in any way than the Pro Display XDR? John and Marco seem disappointed that there isn’t an upgraded option available (120hz, more dimming zones, higher peak brightness). I don’t see why they’d buy a different 6k monitor today, regardle

Vision Pro For Creative Work
The micro OLED displays and detail are quite great for creative work. It would beat most monitors for sure. That said, if working with real color accuracy workflows or 4k+ content, I'd get a Pro Display XDR instead.

27” 4K vs 32” 4k PPI
I have both a 4K 27" IPS display with standard stripe sub-pixel RGB layout and a 4K 31.5" OLED with a triangular sub-pixel RGB layout. For sure the 27" 4K looks clearer, especially on text. However I find the 31.5" 4K display acceptable. In the past I tried a 42" 4K OLED which had a PPI slightly bel

My basement cave – ProDisplay XDR + Mac Studio
You have a wonderful setup! How has the ProDisplay XDR paired with your Mac Studio? I have the Apple Studio Display and the M2 Mac Studio. I often wish I had just a slightly larger display for when I’m working in Lightroom and editing photos. I don’t have room on the type of desk setup for dual disp

Studio Display XDR – Nano-Texture Doubts
I have the Studio Display and Pro Display XDR both in nano and the huge advantages in lack of eyestrain and focus they provide, even indoors, can't be beat, in my opinion, even though they don't move around in different environments, of course. The satin finish that makes it look like a printed page

Glow Little Apple, Glow
All good. My statement still stands though. Separate desktop speakers will beat out built-in display speakers from a sound and imaging standpoint, especially these KEFs. I'm in the fence about swapping to the Studio Display XDR. Yes, it beats the Pro Display XDR in all aspect except for workspace at
