What 32-inch glossy monitors are currently available that can match the brightness and contrast of Macbook Pros?

The pro display XDR I believe is one of the few. First of all 4K is not going to be as good as the pixel density on the MacBook Pro but if you’re targeting just 4K, I would probably look into a good mini LED monitor. The issue is that the MacBook Pro has a huge number of dimming zones on a very smal

My Experience with the Kuycon G32P

Writing this whilst using my G32P... Really loving this monitor, absolutely no issues with it and the only monitor that I'd say can visually compete with this is the Apple Pro Display XDR. I've tried the new LG 6k monitor but the matte coating completely ruins the display and makes it look dull and

People that use macbooks with a monitor, would you recommend using an apple monitor or a different one?

It totally depends on what you need the monitor for. If you're editing text or spreadsheets all day, you only need a monitor that is sharp and easy to read text on. If you're editing video professionally, you should have a monitor that makes it easy to switch in and out of the multiple video standar

Temporary triple 6K setup

How do you like the Kuycons? I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 5k Studio Display but I'm strongly considering the Kuycon as well. I'm also thinking about the Asus Pro Art 6k that just came out The platonic ideal would be the Pro Display XDR lol but that's not exactly ideal for my wallet

Studio Display XDR Owners: Thoughts so far?

I like it a lot. I had a 2022 Studio Display, and I replaced it with the XDR with nano texture. I’m using it with an M4 Mac mini now. I also have an M5 Pro 16-inch MBP (with nano texture), and I use the MBP a lot (and had an M3 Max MBP with standard display before; and an M1 Max before that). I’ve g

Is the older Apple 32" XDR Pro Display worth it over the newly released 27" Studio XDR Display?

There’s not a right answer. Do you want more screen real estate, or do you want better picture quality? IMO, for work: Pro Display XDR. For games/movies/anything in which you’re not staring at windows all day: Studio XDR. If I really wanted a 6K I wouldn’t buy it from Apple, though, due to the price

Apple Studio Display XDR White Paper

DICOM certified displays for medical imaging environments are EXPENSIVE, dare I say this becomes one of the best options on the market for price/performance in that sector? It almost certainly is. Generally the go-to "cheap" medical grade monitor is this LG which costs about $3000: https://solutions

Studio Display XDR is disappointing

I think it’s an amazing monitor. Yes it’s expensive but looking at Pro Display XDR prices and even original Studio Displays it’s going to hold its value better than any LG monitor or tv especially since it’s not oled. Only reason I haven’t jumped on one is because I really would love to also plug it

Studio Display XDR Owners: Thoughts so far?

I bought one but returned it the next day. While the display itself is incredible, I overlooked the fact that my current hardware can't fully utilize it. It was a bit of a mismatch, so I only have myself to blame. I have a MacBook Air (M4) and an older 16" MacBook Pro (M1 Max). The Air can drive the
