Apple discontinues Pro Display XDR

Even then, you still have a number of upcoming applications for this panel It's not like the Pro Display XDR where there wasn't anything 6k, 32", locally dimmed on the market until years after its release, I'm not sure if there still are any on the market and then theres zero excuse for the base Stu

Apple fixed it. Studio Display XDR.

There are other "cheap" medical grade monitors. For example, this one from LG is about $3000: https://solutions.lg.com/us/diagnostic-monitors/lg-32hl512d-b The Apple display's specs are pretty outrageous. It's definitely in a niche, but it's the first and only occupant of that niche. The odd thing a

Apple's Studio Display 2 Reportedly on Track to Launch This Year With These New Features

There may be a 32" 6K as well, rumors have been mixed on that. If there is, it might just be a ProDisplay XDR refresh with minimal changes (ex, more backlight zones) and still cost $5k+stand. Samsung did showcase a 6K 165hz monitor at CES, and it's a little...interesting...that they suddenly have a

Pro Display XDR — is it still worth it in 2025?

Never had a Pro Display XDR myself, and honestly, I wouldn’t buy one at this point. Like you said it's six years old, and since then Apple has put better displays in the MacBook Pro and now even has that ridiculously beautiful OLED panel in the iPad Pro. Personally, I’d give the ASUS ProArt Display

Investo in 1 startup ogni 3 settimane (cit.)

My feedback to Microsoft regarding HDR

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchl50ecf3c4/mac "Note: These options only appear when you’re using Apple Pro Display XDR, Apple Studio Display, a 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later) or a 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021 or later)." A 16inch MacBook Pro from 2021 goes for less than 900 euros

Not many options for 5K-4K 32" OLED + USB-C + Thunderbolt 4-5

Yeah, that doesn’t exist. Also, image quality is kind of a vague thing. OLD is in a lot of ways worse than IPS when it comes to productivity and that’s the biggest reason people are buying these very high resolution monitors. This year we are getting 5K 27 inch 165 Hz mini LED panels OLED does not s

6k Pro Display XDR Vs 5k Studio Display

C1 performance on my PD-XDR is horrendous. Masks are extremely laggy and overall performance feels pretty rough. That's using a M3U which is no slouch! That’s not the case with the Studio Display connected to my m4 Pro MacBook Pro. I’m editing on a machine with less raw power and it’s still noticeab

Apple Studio Display XDR - Windows review?

You’re welcome. I think the nano is very subjective and user dependent. Compared to the glossy it was washed out. Upon walking in first time my 12yo son said “that monitor on left all the whites look gray dad.”

The revamp is finally done!

Nothing seems to match the MacBook display. I think only an oled or mini led will suffice. IPS isn’t good enough. That Pro Display XDR is so much money. So conflicted. Hopefully the new lg will have mini led at half the price of Apple.
