The end of Post-PC era
People seriously overestimate what they need in a computer. I’ve worked in IT for about 20 years, and a lot of the “upgrades” people make seem less about necessity and more about bragging rights. Meanwhile, I’m over here happily using a 10-year-old 27-inch iMac that still does everything I actually

Oh well... bye bye SSO
This isn’t about needing the newest tech, it’s about security and support. Older macOS versions are losing updates, security patches, and compatibility with newer frameworks the game relies on. And since Star Stable is an online game, they have to keep things secure and stable. If they kept supporti

Is there basically no difference between apple refurbished and brand new?
Yes, it’s either an unsold/returned product or a defective product that has been refurbished, all with new battery and outer casing, tested to perform like new, and with 1-year limited warranty. Bought a MacBook Air M3 1TB SSD and an iPhone 13 mini from the refurbished store and they work perfectly

Is anyone surprised their M1 systems are now over 5 years old?
I agree. My M1 MacBook Air is still amazing. I have no need to upgrade it until Apple stops supporting it. I am stunned it’s been 5 years already.

Apple's $599 MacBook Neo Sold Out Through April 2026 Amid Surging Demand
Imo Apple has been no slouch at figuring out what consumers care about and giving it to them. Over a decade ago I bought my first Apple laptop because the MacBook Air had the best battery life on the market, and it wasn’t even close. As a bonus, it also had great build quality and was conveniently v

Where to go to buy laptops in SG?
Tbh for 1.5k casual use. MacBook air. No need to look see. Should get minimum 4-5 years outta it easy. Got my m2 base config in 2022 for about $1.5. Still feels as smooth as day 1.

Here Are All the Rumors About Apple's New $599 MacBook
Our enterprise org went from 100 Macs in 2015 to 15,000 today... solely because of M3 and M4 MacBook Airs. They're finally cheaper than comparable Dell Latitudes and far more reliable.

how stupid would i be if i installed this fresh ios26 beta on my main device? iPhone 13Pro Max
Absolutely stupid. I am doing that. Edit: As expected, the iPhone become very hot and battery drained like crazy after updated (but it has been Ike this every major betas). But I tested most of the apps and they worked just fine, only very laggy but it maybe because many things are still going in th

Windows 10 Deadline Boosts Mac Sales
The MacBook Air base model, is the "best deal in computing right now." For around $1K there is a lot of competition, but the 13"/M4/16 GB/256 GB absolutely blows most of it away. It is just a very high quality and powerful laptop that will last you a long time. I've seen it commonly for $50 off reta
