Apple Launches $599 MacBook Neo, Threatening Windows PC Market
Damn I’m still using a MacBook Air from 2015 that hasn’t been able to update in years. The battery is almost toast. I don’t have an office job and really just use my computer for Reddit and YouTube. This Neo might get me to cave and replace it.

What laptop does your company give you?
All developers used to get a MacBook Pro. But now they’ve downgraded to MacBook Airs M4. Typical cost cutting decision by management. All big 34” curved screens are being replaced by Dell docking stations with two screens, which are not compatible with Mac.. Devs are not happy as you can imagine

MacBook Neo has a thermal protection over the chip
I did a similar copper shim mod on my MacBook Air 2019 back then, it helped with the temps a lot but it made it strictly not a “lap”top. There is a reason why there is an air gap, and it is for not literally burning you or cooking your skin.

New iPhones See 'Stronger Than Expected' Demand With One Exception
The first MacBook Air sucked. It was underpowered, temperamental, and the battery barely lasted through lunch. My dad always warned us to never buy the first model year, but I didn’t listen. Source: I owned one.

Is my barley used 2017 Mac book air ‘end of life’
This is a “MacBook” just MacBook. Not MacBook Air. 2. These are known to have NAND failure. The internal drive is dead.

Come on Adam, that is not normal for a $1,999 laptop.
MacBook Air's display is not that thin though. This is another level. Evidently the compromises to make it this thin might be a little too much.

Awesomeness of mac?
I wouldn't pay £950 for that machine when the M5 MacBook Air is £1,099. The M1 range will only get a couple more years of OS updates, the M5 is looking at probably 7 years. You have to remember the M1 Pro is still a good processor, but it is a 2020/2021 processor, the warranty is long gone and you'r

ASUS increases Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite laptop prices just hours after reviews go live
Ceraluminum maybe more expensive but it certainly isn't that durable, as with the LTT test having the lid bending a bit too much for my liking. "for the S i'm seeing 1200p OLED for 16" which doesnt exist for the Snapdragon yet." Where? Notebookcheck has one review of Gorgon Point Zenbook S16 and tha
