I picked up a refurbished iPad mini 6 (64GB) a while back for around $330. For what you’re planning, YouTube, Netflix, movies, it’s honestly great. The size makes it super easy to hold, and it still runs everything smooth. Mine came looking basically brand new and still gets updates with no issues.

The “Pressure Sensitivity“ of Apple Pencil 2nd gen can only be used on supported drawing/sketching apps like ProCreate and the like, but not in Notes app. Pressure Sensitivity on the Apple Pencil 2nd gen is app-dependent. The effectiveness of the pressure sensitivity relies on the individual app. Ap

I've editted on an iPad Mini 6, which had an A15 chip. The experience with an Apple Pencil was really good, and overall speed was fast - just be wary of importing a ton of photos at once. It gets my photos 80-90% of the way, which is plenty enough for quick social media posts and sharing

Same with my Apple Watch. iOS 18 wasn't great either, it had its issues, & I would know because I installed the first beta of both iOS 18 & 26, & I can

As for suggesting ipads, while it is true they are fantastic, and the apple chips are unrivaled, some caveats that frustrated me when I bought the 64gb mini after all the hype for on-the-go editing- everyone kept saying you could just stick an SSD for storage. No one mentioned that the SSDs drain th

Apple TV 4K Gen 2: A12, 3GB RAM Apple TV 4K Gen 3: A15, 4GB RAM Nintendo Switch: Tegra X1, 4GB RAM I've played on the Apple TV 4K Gen 3 and it crashed a lot even there. Meanwhile, no crashes on a similarly specced iPad mini 6 so there's probably some things Apple should fix with tvOS or Gameloft sho

Don't bother with the AppleTV. It's only playable on the latest model and even that crashes a lot. There's been rumors every year about updated ATV hardware but so far nothing. For handheld/touchscreen gaming, I prefer the iPad mini's size. If you use a controller, then 11" or 13". Honestly, the gam
