I find wifi connection matters a lot on my iPad mini 6. Bad wifi on 2.4 ghz will cause stuttering video and heat up the chip when using twitch, Netflix, youtube. When I switch to a good 5 GHz connection, those issues don't pop up even in the same room and the iPad drains less battery. That said, the

Sorry, but it’s a you issue. Most probably your WiFi is not setup properly to optimize the Portal connection. Granted, it’s a bit technical, but it’s doable if you understand how. Not rocket science. What iPad model do you have? I get a lot of stuttering upon initial loading on my old 2020 iPad Pro (A12Z/6GB), iPad mini 6 (A15/4GB) and Apple TV 4K (A15/4GB). It runs pretty smooth on the 2024 iPad Pro (M4/16GB) and iPad mini 7 (A17 Pro/8GB).
