which should i get?

The iPad Air 5th gen would be enough, especially if you’re just planning on taking notes on it. It also has support for the Apple Pencil 2 (not pro) which charges much more conveniently (than the usbc Apple Pencil) via magnet on the iPad.

Users of iPad Air (5th generation) with battery health around 80% and 600–700 cycles — how has your battery life been in daily use? How many hours of screen time do you usually get?

I bought my Air M1 5th gen in March 2023 and it has around 86% SoH left. I don’t remember the amount of cycles out of my head. The battery life is not far from awful tbh… Sometimes I get around 7 hours of usage and sometimes it burns through 8% of battery in 10 minutes of photo editing (Apple Photos

iPad recommendation for drawing and studying

Perfect. The iPad Air 5th Generation is a powerhouse. Perfect for your needs, for drawing, purchase an Apple Pencil 2. With an M1 chip and 8 GB of RAM, it will be supported with software for years to come. Its battery life is very good, lasting a whole day.

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread

Get the iPad Air 5th generation. The M series chips are a major breakthrough in performance and energy efficiency that anything less isn't worth it. It also supports a better apple pencil which is a 2nd gen and magnetic charging with the air5.

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread

The 11th gen iPad (A16)received a refresh last year and is priced at $349. It should continue receiving software updates until around 2031 or 2032. If you don’t care as much about long term Apple support, the iPad Air 5th generation is still a great option. It offers strong performance with the M1 c

Ipad Air 5th gen or the Ipad 11th gen A16 chip?

Hi, I've done some editing on my iPad Pro 12.9 5th Generation, which has the M1 like the iPad Air 5. Not the same thing but close enough. The only real difference seems to be the ProMotion display. RAM is the same. I used Lumafusion to edit some FPV drone footage. For a 5-min clip, it took about 6 m

So I have this iPad Air 3 and I wonder if iPad Os 26 is last update?

If anyone else see's this post, as I just have, they updated the working at the bottom. My ipad air 3rd gen gives me the option to update to 18.7.1 or 26 at the bottom of the update page. When I saw two options I wondered why and started searching. It turns out that apple says you can download it bu

iPad Air 5, is it worth it?

iPad Air is currently on 7th generation using M3. The current iPad is 11th generation. Your 7th gen iPad is approximately 6 years old. The iPad Air 5th gen is 4 years old. You'd be going from the A10 to the M1. I question whether the upgrade is worth the money. Of course, it depends on price. Howeve
