Is a good option an IPad Air 5th 256 GB for 400 USD?
Pretty overpriced, just get the iPad Pro m2, or air m3 discounted

What IPad should I buy between the M3 and the A18?
We don’t know when the base iPad will be updated with the A18 chip. The M3 dropped in price and the 13-inch model is now worth it. I don’t think the differences between iPad Air (11-inch) and iPad (A16) are significant. Both use mediocre LCDs with low refresh rates and the same resolution. The panel

Moving from 11 inch M1 pro to 13 inch M4 air
I have a 12.9 M2 Pro & 13” M4 Pro and got an 11” Air M3 a while back. I wanted something smaller, lighter, portable. Didn’t think much of the specs. I wanted something better than the A16 but not as expensive as a Pro. It was going to be my couch iPad. I was definitely wrong! The first thing I notic

Gen 2 pencil compatibility....
Even dumber: Gen 2 works with iPad Air M1 but not my newer iPad Air M3 which are otherwise virtually indistinguishable from each other. Solution: I purchased a Used/Good Apple Pencil Pro from Amazon for around $50 and it was still new and factory sealed just a scuff on the box.

11 Only - A18 / 19 vs Air M3
honestly for your mom the processor doesn't matter at all - she won't push any of them. get her the cheapest base ipad with a18 or a19. the m3 air is overkill for youtube and banking. what matters way more is making it easy for her. put it in a stand case so she can prop it up in bed or on the table

Got the base iPad 11th Gen over M3/M4 Air. Don’t regret it any bit.
I used the 7th gen iPad for six years as a professional. I don't regret it at all. Same OS (until OS 26, and I upgraded to an Air last year) and same apps. The screen works, the Apple Pencil works, it was NO hardship. I don't care about a fancy screen, just functionality. And it functioned just fine

Ipad air m3 128 gb or Ipad 11th gen 256 gb
The 11th gen is an amazing value. It's the iPad most people need. The price jump to get the m3 air isn't worth it in my opinion.

ipad battery replacement
six hundred is insane for an air m3 battery swap. third party is definitely the way to go but i'd think twice about doing it yourself. ipads are glued shut and one wrong move cracks the display. plenty of shops will do it with oem-spec batteries for half that price. look for a place that offers a wa

Ipad 11 or 12
next ipad base model likely lands fall 2026 with a17 or a18 chip. if you need one now for school, the a16 is fine and cheaper. the air m3 is noticeably faster but only worth the +24k if you edit video, run multiple apps side by side, or want the better screen. what i'd do - grab the ipad a16 refurbi

Is the $160 price increase worth it? iPad Air M3 vs M4?
M4 is on;y good if you want a littler bit more power but mainly it’s the same if you want a really better iPad go with iPad Pro with M3 or so I have the iPad Pro 13“ with M5 Innas before an iPad Air
