Apple pencil broke, what can I get?
Make sure it’s compatible with whatever Apple tablet you have as well. I got the new iPad A16 chip but had to go back to the 1st gen pencil for pressure sensitivity.

Which gen is the oldest you’d purchase? (for a teen)
If you don’t want to spend a whole lot, look into other options. Even the iPad A16 isn’t a good option due to its compatible pencil. The cheapest that can be done for an iPad would be a used/refurbished m2 iPad Air with a pencil pro. If you want more detailed information, feel free to DM me and I ca

Which iPad should I buy?
You’re right, it doesn’t really matter all that much if all you use it for is day to day tasks. I have only included the chipsets in the descriptions in order to differentiate between the different models. The base iPad that I personally use is one hell of a device for 99% of my use case which is fr

Ipad A16 vs Samsung Tab S10 FE vs Xiaomi Pad 7 vs Huawei Matepad 11.5 2025
I have used both iPad A16 and S9 FE and I found S9 FE to be smoother due to its 90hz refresh rate and I find iPads 60hz so laggy due to using multiple devices at 120hz for a long time now but the processor on Samsung is really crap you can’t play games and also do any task which are heavy. Also iPad

Weekly Discussion and Tech-Support Thread
1st gen apple pencil not working Hi everyone. I’ve went through this entire subreddit looking for resolutions to no avail. I bought not one but two first gen apple pencils for my ipad a16 since the first one wasn’t connecting. This one isn’t either. They will pair, but will immediately disconnect on

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread
Currently in college, I have a M2 MacBook Pro and my iPad Air 4 recently broke (lcd is cooked and repairing is the same as buying a new one) I’m not sure if I should shoot for the new iPad Air or A16 iPad, but I’m also considering waiting until the new base iPad release just not sure if it’ll be wor

Apple pencil vs other pencils
Thanks! Yeah I agree. I did some reading and got to know that there's not really a lot of advantage with the type c USB pencil over a 3rd party pencil because both don't have pressure sensitivity. The advantage with apple USB type c pencil is the hover feature which it offers only for iPad pro and a

Anyone using Steam Deck for portable RAW file photo editing?
If you have the OLED I don't know if there's any other device you could argue is better than the deck in its price point. An iPad A16 is going to have a much better screen and supports the Apple Pencil but iOS is quite cumbersome to integrate into a workflow so it's kind of a no-go unless you're sub

macOS/iOS friendly?
I should have mentioned that I am an Apple user. And being perfectly honest with you, buying the A16 iPad for $279 would be a way better investment. If your sole purpose is therapeutic writing without distractions, Supernote is awesome. If you need to get any real work done, Supernote is frustrating
