What Multitasking should look like on iPadOS 26.1

I agree. Split view and slide over are what makes iPad, an iPad. Even though my iPad A16 is my first Apple product from the ecosystem, it's a real downer removing such full screen features. I hope those features make a comeback.

I feel myself turning to the dark side... a bit...

For the ecosystem benefits, I switched to Apple with the iPhone SE in 2020, after having owned several Android flagships. This year I unboxed my iPhone 15 Plus and iPad (A16). It absolutely baffles me that large-screened devices with an operating system this smooth and apps of such high quality are

Buying Xiaomi pad 8

Xiaomi makes very nice hardware but HyperOS and the overall software experience leaves a lot to be desired. Yes the A16 iPad (11th gen) is nice, but when I compared it to my Samsung A11+ for normal tasks there really wasn't that much of difference even though the iPad has a faster processor. If you

Advice Wanted: iPad A16? M4 Air? None?

Don’t get an ipad. Apple fucked up the iPadOS, seems like every update makes it worse. I 100% regret getting an M4 iPad Pro. I’d definitely get a newer Macbook if I could do it again. Usability of a Mac vs iPad are night and day. I miss the older ipad os, but even that is fairly locked down for cert

New A16 Battery

This is normal. The iPad indexes all data in the background, including iCloud, photos, and other things. It should be improved in a few days. However, the iPad is designed for beginners, and its battery is not the best from Apple. The iPad A16 is also suitable for streaming and music, but it may not

What changes could we see in the iPad Pro that John Ternus is CEO of Apple?

For context I own a Pro 12.9 A12x, Pro 11 M2, and Pro 13 M4 all with AMK, along with a Pro 11 M1, iPad A16, and a Mini 6. While I have zero personal interest in MacOS running on an iPad and would likely never buy one of them, I do wish instead of screwing up the simple multi-tasking capabilities tha

I have an iPad a16 but I kind of regret not having many features, should I change to an m4 air?

Yes, exactly! That’s the main reason I hate my a16, using stage manager nothing fits and idk it feels like I’m using a large display with everything zoomed in, I wish I could use my apps and iPad with more space option

Anyone using Steam Deck for portable RAW file photo editing?

If you have the OLED I don't know if there's any other device you could argue is better than the deck in its price point. An iPad A16 is going to have a much better screen and supports the Apple Pencil but iOS is quite cumbersome to integrate into a workflow so it's kind of a no-go unless you're sub

macOS/iOS friendly?

I should have mentioned that I am an Apple user. And being perfectly honest with you, buying the A16 iPad for $279 would be a way better investment. If your sole purpose is therapeutic writing without distractions, Supernote is awesome. If you need to get any real work done, Supernote is frustrating
