Upgrading from iPad air M1 to Ipad A16

I wouldn't call going from iPad Air M1 to iPad A16 an "upgrade" (less RAM, less processing power, no laminated display, etc) But if it works for you, it works.

Got my first ever a16 iPad for school.

That’s amazing. A16 really an underrated gem. I find the M chip is just a marketing spoof. If anything just overheats my iPad. Can hear the fans going off when it’s quiet. My Battery life already at 91 at 210 cycles. I’m worried about the longevity, which sucks because I always thought M2 would last

iOS 26.1 Beta 3 - Discussion

My iPad A16 has a very annoying bug, the keyboard takes 5 seconds to appear. 😩

Apple Intelligent on iPad A16?

The A16's Neural Engine chip is pretty powerful, but you need 8GB of RAM for Apple's smart features to work well, and this iPad only has 6.

Which iPad should I buy?

You’re right, it doesn’t really matter all that much if all you use it for is day to day tasks. I have only included the chipsets in the descriptions in order to differentiate between the different models. The base iPad that I personally use is one hell of a device for 99% of my use case which is fr

Buying Xiaomi pad 8

Xiaomi makes very nice hardware but HyperOS and the overall software experience leaves a lot to be desired. Yes the A16 iPad (11th gen) is nice, but when I compared it to my Samsung A11+ for normal tasks there really wasn't that much of difference even though the iPad has a faster processor. If you

iPad air vs iPad pro for High School

Realistically. No student using iPad for notes need more than the "basic" iPad A16. Especially in high school. Anything above that is overkill - mainly to satisfy a want and to "flex".

Should I update my iPad 9th gen to iPadOS 26?

No, I did and it was a reason to change to iPad a16, as the first one became much slower

should i trade in my M1 12.9inch pro for an 11th gen A16 ipad?

No it’s not worth it iPad A16 has the baddest display in industry spent more an get the iPad Air with M3 or M4. My sister has that with A16 and one minute wth my iPad Pro 13 M5 she would trade in her iPad immediately

Wow Liquid Glass!!

And the most insane thing is that you can’t go back to iPadOS 18. Like I have no problems if anyone like iPadOS 26 with the new windowing system and all, but at least let people who dislike the new update downgrade I don’t see what’s the problem with that. I swear one of the reasons that made me tra
