Someone made the MacBook and iPad have a baby

I work for a very large F500 manufacturer. We had been putting $1800 per unit Touch Windows devices into some of our plants for our line managers to use as their "mobile computer". They were just not durable enough to withstand the harsh conditions of the plants. Endless breakage. We're about to sta

iPad A16 (Brand New) or iPad Air M4 (Used - Like New)

Air M4 100% Better in every way, aside from the price. Much faster, with more RAM, so will last far longer and can run the "AAA" games Apple is advertising if you want. Support for the better Apple Pencil Better (laminated) display Will likely support more features as the OS updates go on, whilst th

M1 iPad Air or A16 iPad?

If you care about the warranty and new battery then the iPad A16, otherwise the iPad Air is a good deal with those risks

I feel like I’m going round in circles here. 😂

I would go for the A16 iPad or a refurbished m1 or m2 iPad Air. The A16 isn’t a bad chip but getting into the M chips will let that iPad work flawlessly for a long time. Plus the airs have better compatibility with the Apple pencils I believe.

I want to buy a tablet solely for studying, is an iPad worth it?

You would be fine with the current A16 iPad, which you can find for around $300 if you shop around. It may be even less expensive after they announce the new iPads in October. This will get you through dental school. If you buy an older iPad it won’t make it 6 years. Battery life deteriorates over t

iPad 11 th generation !!

A lot of people say it’s bad but i think it’s pretty good. A16 is faster than a lot of quad core intel CPUs (at least the 10th gen ones, that are still widely used) and those CPUs are made to handle heavier OSes like Windows. iPadOS is fairly lightweight too, and the 6GB of ram will be more than suf

Damn you, Apple, for making a near perfect device that I don't need

In the past 3 months I bought an iPad a16 to upgrade from an 8 years old 5th gen and a Neo to retire my old MacBook Pro from 2016. Use them both, love them both. Neo wasn't planned, for my needs old Pro despite its 10 years worked still fine but as soon as I laid my eyes on the indigo Neo it was lov

Which ipad is good for student with very limited budget?

Get whatever base iPad you can get with 128 GB. The newer the better. There maybe old refurbished iPad Airs but unlikely at 128 GB. The OS and system data themselves take 30 odd GB so I think 128 is the minimum to be future proof. My honest suggestion? Get the new iPad A16. It maybe a bit over your

I'm looking for an Ipad I can use with Procreate for some art- Very overwhelmed with all the options as someone who's never used any apple products before, help?

Firstly I would avoid 64GB models and aim for at least 128 as you will find storage an issue. You’ll loose 30GB easy to iPadOS and system data. If you can stretch to £300 you can get the base model iPad for around that price often on sale, it’ll be called 2025 iPad, iPad A16 or iPad 11th gen. It wou

What are the best iPads widely used by students right now?

An iPad with Apple Pencil USB-C or Apple Pencil Pro The Apple Pencil Pro is so nice to use, with the pressure sensitivity. Also, iPad Air and Pro have laminated screens, so you don't hear a tapping sound when you use the apple pencil But I use an iPad A16 with Apple Pencil USB-C and it works just fi
