Wanting to get into Resin printing, what is a good printer for a beginner to print Warhammer bits?
I just started resin printing about a month ago, I got a anycubic mono 4 ultra for printing dnd minis and it’s great! After doing my research for all the other bits and pieces (ppe, washing/curing station, cleaning stuff) needed it came to around £500 for everything

LGS says the Twin Lance is $111
I have 2 that I mainly use, and they're very affordable. The Creality Halot mage 8k I think I paid 250 for and it has a sizable build plate on it. And one I really recommend you get, especially if you're starting out, is the Anycubic Mono 4 ultra. It's smaller but it's a 10k resolution packed into a

Resin printing for tiny gears
Yes you can definetely print that with resin, you can look at the Mono 4 Ultra from anycubic, it's really precise you can print at 30um with it to achieve small pieces like this :D

Mars 5 ultra thumping
I wasted 6 month communicating with their support. In the end I just bought Anycubic Mono 4 Ultra. It's way faster and better machine without gimmicky tilting vat and unlevelable "auto-leveling" table. Cut your losses and move on I will never buy ANYTHING from Elegoo

Looking for recommendations based on available options.
Avoid the R6 like the plague. Personally I prefer Elegoo over Anycubic for printers, so I would lean Mars 4, however there are trade offs. The Mars 4 has a better light source (COB vs Matrix). It's been said the Mono 4's matrix LED light source does the 10K LCD no favors (less even, wider angle of i

I kept turning up exposure and it wasn’t even the problem
I may have to go in manually then if these prints keep failing. It’s frustrating; it’s literally hit or miss for me and it’s killed 2 FEP films and a screen for my Anycubic Mono 4 ultra

My bust came out okay, but the supports were very tough to remove and caused damage, any help to fix future prints would be great, this was my second print ever
despite the supports marks , the print looks amazing , i very inclined to buy this anycubic mono 4 ultra, please share more prints .

Question about resin
I just use an AnyCubic Mono 4 Ultra. If you use Lychee to slice your models they already have the resin profile with all the parameters. Made it really easy to take most of the guesswork. I honestly don’t thing I had to change anything.

Halot One screen?
Hi, I had the same question around a year ago. They don't make screens that size anymore I'm afraid, or that resolution. Unless someone has one in stock somewhere. I replaced my Halot One with an AnyCubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra. The increased resolution is good, and the smaller layer height is great, a
