Beginner on a budget Bambu labs A2L or Elegoo centauri carbon2?

CC2 is a much better value. Enclosed printer that is much more capable of printing basic and high temp engineering filaments. I love mine! It’s a very solid printer! But it does have a smaller build volume. Only about 10 inches cubed. (About 12-14 inches diagonally if your model is thin enough to fi

Printer for prototyping, Creality K1 Max or something better?

The "standard" size nowadays is 256mm^3. If you really need 300, you're going to pay for those extra 50mm. The Anycubic Kobra S1 Max is one cheaper option that's available now and has gotten decent reviews.

Upsizing the print volume on a CC ?

You are way better off just selling it and buying a bigger printer (maybe an Anycubic Kobra S1 Max which is 350x350x350) if that’s really what you want. Trying to modify the CC2 to increase the size would be a total nightmare. So not worth the effort, time, or money.

Should I even buy this?

As a beginner myself, I got my very first printer in April. It is the Anycubic Kobra S1 combo. My second printer is also an S1 combo. I will not say it’s been all sunshine and roses but it’s November and both machines have over a thousand hours 1029 and 1045 respectively. So 7 months of printing, ye

Share Your Biggest Print Story – Win a Kobra S1 Max Combo

My biggest and longest print to date was done on my Anycubic Kobra 3 Max. I really wanted to push the machine to its limits, so I took on a massive four-color print to see what it could handle. The project was a Pokémon Rayquaza for my friend’s son—standing nearly 400 mm tall and taking almost an en

Robert-025 Helmet

I'm getting the anycubic kobra s1 max! I wanted a larger printer that also has a heater and it was fairly inexpensive. Some helmet will be pretty easy to print in one go!

Snapmaker u1 vs bambu lab p2s

It sounds like you just want something basic that’s enclosed with a filament box. In that case, maybe the Qidi Q2 or Anycubic Kobra S1 Max (bigger) is best. Just understand that if you want to do multicolor/multimaterial prints, they will take a lot longer on those machines and you will waste a lot

Snapmaker u1 vs bambu lab p2s

Actually Qidi is one of the few brands that I’ve never owned. But I have a friend that has the Qidi Plus4 and he has had lots of problems. Especially with the Qidi box (their version of the Bambu AMS). Qidi is known for advertising printers with great specs and all the features you’d want… but then
