I’ve only had it a couple days but so far no issues, it’s a heatwave so my anker 622 heated my iPhone up too much. This one haven’t had the “ temp too high” warning

Yeah, agree about the intended use, could see doing that on travel days or others where I know I’m gonna be out and about. But this was reassuring that it also works well as a 1 hour recharge back to ~80%. Edit: I had an Anker 622 that melted a USB into its connector, so I quit using other packs ent

Anker 633 or the Anker 622 are my recs. They’re very popular with good reason. Very portable, good magnets, they do get hot though. But no more than other MagSafe power banks. Cables are always going to be better but MagSafe is so convenient.

I just returned the anker 622 and bought a QI2 Iniu, really impressed for speed and temperature. In a half an hour charge it didn’t overheated (while Anker one did)

This is one area where the glazing is on point. My Anker 622 literally melted a USB into its connector, and I know two people who have traced house fires back to their batteries. Meanwhile this thing is cool as a cucumber, has intelligence/optimization baked in, and feels like cashmere in the hand.

That does look slick. Apple blew it not offering a black one. Heat was my main concern with Ankers, had a 622 that melted the USB into its port.

I appreciate all your work and I know you’re joking, but I did have an Anker 622 that melted a USB into its connector simply by leaving it plugged in (nothing attached). Also know of two separate people who started house fires with chargers. I have been wary of any non-Apple lithium ion ever since.

No experience with that model but I used to leave my Anker 622 plugged in and it melted a USB into the connector. Never again
