Why i dont reccomend kindle scribe to ANYONE.

I absolutely don't want any other apps. The entire reason I reach for my Scribe is that I want some disconnected, undisturbed peace with a good book. I've owned Kindles for years and I've hardly bought any books from the Amazon Kindle store. I get ebooks elsewhere, convert them with Calibre if neede

Remarkable vs Kindle Scribe

I’ve used both the Kindle Scribe and Remarkable 2, so here’s my take: Kindle ScribeBest for reading with some note-taking. Great for Kindle books and PDFs but not much for advanced note capabilities. Remarkable 2 → Best for writing and sketching. Feels more paper-like (marketing isn’t lying) but

Am I the only one who thinks people just want to buy another e-reader because of overconsumption?

I would have been a KU/Kindle girly forever if they hadn’t changed their policies. I understand the licensing stuff but this was never an issue before a couple years ago. I’ve been a loyal kindle user since 2010. I have over 15 years worth of books I would potentially lose access to if Amazon decide

Some words about the viwoods experience

I'm only 2hrs new to the AiPaper and loving it so far - time will tell! I hear you about the folder structure, I've come from the Kindle Scribe so my expectations are quite low already haha.

Thinking of buying my first Kindle

You should wait until next month. It was announced that Amazon will release new Kindle devices at the end of September, probably including a colour Kindle Scribe. In general, a Kindle or any other e-reader is an excellent way to read and carry your library around with you. If you want a pink one, it

Why are einks tablet so expensive and are they worth it

The Kindle Scribe first gen is a great buy. While it is in the Amazon (Boo! Hiss!) ecosystem it is an excellent eink reader and productivity tool for note taking, sketching and pdf review.

Looking for e-reader recommendations — $200–250 budget, no subscription plans

I have a Kindle basic (2024) and a Kindle Scribe (2024), and I sideload exclusively. Sideloading is easy: just make sure your books are DRM-free then you can send them via mail/send to kindle feature on the Amazon Website or Kindle App onto your device. I created my Amazon solely because of owning a

Switching to Supernote

I wouldn’t plan to need to bring your own PDF. You can, of course, but the organizational system of the supernote needs to be experienced. All the work around you had to do with the Kindle are no longer a thing. One thing I will say, is that the writing feel on the supernote takes a little bit to ge

My brain works best when I write by hand, but my career requires me to find notes instantly. Help?

As someone who has owned and used Boox products, a Kindle Scribe, and Supernote products, I would recommend the Supernote products without hesitation. Supernote's note taking software is, in my opinion, the best among all the eink notetakers. For your particular needs, you would use the "Real Time R

Does anyone know of a puzzle book or source for snarky or millennial/gen z themed crosswords?

You may enjoy the Inkubator crosswords. They went under a little while ago, but you can order the book. The puzzles are made mainly by women and/or members of the LGBT+ community, so there’s a lot of more modern trivia and references that may be to your liking. Personally, a good amount of the later
