New Michigan House bill would place 32% tax on internet-connected devices for kids
The last Kindle I purchased for me is the Amazon paperwhite kids. But it’s not for a kid, it came in a bundle with a better warranty and a case, and was a better deal than buying the same Kindle paperwhite on its own.

Six years in, holy crap I’m burnt out.
Yeah. I’ve been there. What helped was them going to school. lol. What also helped was losing my shit and telling my husband he had to take the kids OUT 3+ hours every weekend. You need time to rest in your safe space. Eventually you’ll start to feel better once you have some time alone. Maybe your

Looking for a no-internet e-ink reader for my teens
Just go for a Kindle Paperwhite Kids / Kindle Kids. They come with a free case, free warranty, and you can just use parental controls to disable the browser and control the store. Plus... it's a Kindle. It's the most robust and accessible product on the market.

To those of you who have 2 e-readers, why do you keep both and what do you use each one for?
I bought myself a Kindle Paperwhite Kids after I had my first baby to get back into reading. I wanted a hobby for myself and it worked, I read 52 books that year. Then I got pregnant with my second baby and any free time I had was spent sleeping. That year I asked for a Kobo Libra Colour for Christm

Well, I messed up my first jailbreak today. Be careful with a Kids Kindle...
Ahh, thanks for the warning. The kid's kindle is so cute and comes with a case! I get the temptation. Amazon makes it so tricky to actually get the devices that we paid good money for from them to actually be used to it's full potential.

Trying to Decide - New Ereader for my kids
Kindle (paperwhite 5h and kobo (libra 2) user here! I prefer the kindle for cross device syncing reasons. It’s really nice to be able to pick up my book from my phone whenever I forget to bring it with me. If the kid already has a kindle, I’d recommend staying in the ecosystem for that reason alone.

HELP! What ereader should I get?
Since all your ebooks are from Amazon and you don't seem to want to get away from buying Amazon ebooks I'd get another Kindle. You can get a used Kindle, like from Unclaimed Baggage or use your old, broken Kindle as a trade in on a new one (preferably that's on sale because this stacks) get a small
