The point is the devices are FINE nothing wrong with them they just want them to upgrade. IMO i justice got a colorsoft last year first kindle or ereader ever. Been using the app. Wish I knew about the other devices and the issues kindle give before I got mine or I might have gone the other way Edit

The Kobo is nice but the Libra Color screen is bad compared to any BW screen or the Kindle Colorsoft screen. Go with a BW if you do not need color. Pocketbook has nice HW. Kobo HW feels cheap but the software on Kobo is much better. I always come back to Kindle though, it is , for me, the best exper

There is also the B7 and B7 Pro if you need a 7" Not saying Bigme is the best but I paid $ 160.00 new shipped Now you might know you can Jailbreak a Kindle and install KOReader? That's another option if you like the Kindle 'shape' If the Colorsoft is on sale next time, I am getting one, the SE 32 GB

Agree 100%, especially if you want/need waterproof and warm light. If you want portability though, the basic is the best choice. I have the colorsoft and the basic.
