Tablet for comic reading.
A few years ago some one recommended a Kindle Fire 10 HD, picked a couple up on a sale for me and my wife, and its been very serviceable. I use mine exclusively for comics but my wife occasionally uses hers for other things too. Biggest issues were just: Pain in the butt getting certain apps on it,

Switched to digital
About 6 months ago I switched from physical comics to digital. I made the switch for financial and space reasons. I got a kindle fire HD 10 and downloaded Marvel Unlimited and DC Universe Infinite. The price of both subscriptions has put a much needed relief on my wallet.
But I’ve been struggling

For the digital comic book readers out there, what is your go to device for reading?
I have an Amazon Fire HD 10 but I really want a 12"
I saw a "Teclast" 12 at Amazon and due to the $170 price I was thinking of checking that out
What do you use, like?

Show Mode Kindle Fire HD 10 turns it UPSIDE DOWN pineapple
When I turn on show mode the screen flips and stays UPSIDE down. Any way to fix this? My screen case/holder is not reversible. So annoying.

Has anyone ever replaced a Fire HD 10 (latest gen) screen? Which replacement screen did you use?
My kid broke his Fire HD 10 (not kid version) screen, which is not covered by warranty. A few shops (in Canada) have quoted more to replace the screen than it costs to buy a new one. As my options are limited, I want to try my hand at replacing the screen myself. I'd appreciate any useful tips

Phonetic characters displaying as square box glyphs in Kindle dictionary popup?
When I look up a word in the kindle app, the phonetic alphabet characters in the dictionary popup will display as rectangles. But when opening "Go to dictionary" the text is perfectly fine. The issue only presents in the dictionary popup, regardless of which dictionary.
I wanted to try updating the

Kids books no longer in landscape!!
For some reason it seems 75% of the kids books were reading will not go into landscape mode. This has happened in the past month. Books we know that have previously been read in landscape automatically turn to portrait mode and refuse to turn landscape.
This is on the Fire HD 10 kid. I’ve checked f

Looking for a tablet for Zwift
I'm looking for an Android tablet that will probably see a lot of use with Zwift. I'll use it for other basic stuff as well, but Zwift would definitely be the most taxing. Will probably fix a holder right behind the handlebars of my trainer.
I'd like a +10.5" display, and I guess I need the lates

How bad is a x43z60 (Kindle Fire HD 7) today?
It's a second gen, from 2012. It runs a fork of Android 4, which is pretty much useless for modern things as we're on Android 16 now and old versions get deprecated.. It's 14 years old, no matter how much modding you do to it it's still limited by that. Modern devices have video decoding in hardware
