I’ve been dealing with this for a while now, it happened three times: it just shuts down, does not turn on if pressing the on/off button. The only way to turn it back on is to plug it in on to charge, except that every time this happened it DID had charge. This time it was on 56% battery.

My kid broke his Fire HD 10 (not kid version) screen, which is not covered by warranty. A few shops (in Canada) have quoted more to replace the screen than it costs to buy a new one. As my options are limited, I want to try my hand at replacing the screen myself. I'd appreciate any useful tips

Last night, I was watching some Hulu on my Fire while in my bed. I had to go to the bathroom, paused what I was watching like I'd done many times before. I came back, opened my case, the screen didn't appear. Tapped the power button, still no screen. I held it down to try to reset it, nothing.

It just keeps happening over and over again that the card will fail to be recognized and I have to fix it some way, im wondering if anyone knows why it does this?

Last year it started to shut down for no reason (the battery could be as low as 80% or 10%) and when it turned off it would go into an eternal reboot loop.

In order to use it I started leaving it plugged in and using it that way which eliminated mobility (I have to be near an outlet to use it)
