Tablet for comic reading.
A few years ago some one recommended a Kindle Fire 10 HD, picked a couple up on a sale for me and my wife, and its been very serviceable. I use mine exclusively for comics but my wife occasionally uses hers for other things too. Biggest issues were just: Pain in the butt getting certain apps on it,

Tab X C Stylus Alternatives
I have purchased five different USI styluses to try with my Tab X C. They range in quality from "pretty decent" to "non-functional" (the Pixel Slate Pen), and I figured I'd pass along this info for anyone who's interested.
The first thing I will say that really bothers me about USI styluses is that

Best colour ereader for comic/manga?
NXTPaper14 has been by far my favorite for both. The size was much larger then I wanted but ended up being great for manga since those don't support guided view so its the most enjoyable way to read manga by far (as some one who originally read them on my 6 inch kindle voyage). The color eink and bl

How do you guys keep your tablet powered up for a long time?
Just looking for some advice as I have a EDIT fire HD 10 tablet that drains constantly, and it got me wondering how to keep the device running longer as I like to read on long bus rides, but I get worried about the battery life.

How do I stop my screen coming on by itself? [Fire HD 10 2018]
My screen constantly comes on while my fire is on standby, whether its on standby or not. I have the version with ads but can't seem to find any writing suggesting that's what is causing this.

Amazon Fire HD 10 turning off randomly.
I’ve been dealing with this for a while now, it happened three times: it just shuts down, does not turn on if pressing the on/off button. The only way to turn it back on is to plug it in on to charge, except that every time this happened it DID had charge. This time it was on 56% battery.

Fire Max 11 vs Fire HD 10+
I am currently sitting on an old Fire HDX from like 2013 and looking to upgrade for an upcoming long plane ride. With the prices currently for prime day looks like the Max 11 is $150 and the HD 10+ is $95. Looking for some honest opinions on both. Right now I'm leaning HD 10+ for wireless charging,

Fire HD 10 Screen Randomly Coming On - Fixed Mine
I have something that might be helpful for the issue where the screen randomly comes on by itself. This is not confirmed yet, but it appears to work for mine. I have seen no random screen activity for the last 8 hours. Before this, the screen was lighting up every 10 minutes or so.
I noticed that e

wondering if i made the right choice
I had to double check to see if OP posted this 7 years ago instead of 7 days ago. The Fire HDX's came out in 2013-2014 so they are ancient. They had flagship CPUs of the time so performance is passable today (running very old versions of Fire OS 4-5/Android 4-5 helps a lot) but many (if not most) ap
