Just looking for some advice as I have a EDIT fire HD 10 tablet that drains constantly, and it got me wondering how to keep the device running longer as I like to read on long bus rides, but I get worried about the battery life.

My screen constantly comes on while my fire is on standby, whether its on standby or not. I have the version with ads but can't seem to find any writing suggesting that's what is causing this.

I’ve been dealing with this for a while now, it happened three times: it just shuts down, does not turn on if pressing the on/off button. The only way to turn it back on is to plug it in on to charge, except that every time this happened it DID had charge. This time it was on 56% battery.
