I gave my lil sister my old phone... This is how it came back. Now my parents are demanding I give her my tablet.
They should get her an Amazon kids tablet. Cheap($70-100), has a THICK foam protector, and comes with a year of kids Amazon free time. Not sure why they are fine with her just destroying things.

My barely 5yo son asks me if he can "play skibidi toilet"
Fr I'm kinda surprised at how people are blaming the tablet, they've obviously never seen an Amazon kids tablet lol. There's 0 chance he got that from his tablet, that he spends barely an hour on a week. Even if he spent all day on it, he wouldn't have gotten it from the tablet. He doesn't have acce

We've kept our toddler tablet free and she's almost 4. We are planning a trip on the other side of the world with a 24 hr travel. Worried about keeping her busy. Debating whether we should get a Kindle fire kids tablet or something else. Any recommendations?
I recommend the pbs kids games. Tons of great low stim educational content. Free! Not sure if you can access that with the fire kids tablet.

Tablet just for travel
Amazon kids tablet! If it’s only for travel, you can just turn off the WiFi and YouTube isn’t an option. There’s also a lot of content if you get the kids+ (it’s usually included for the first year I think) and you can limit the content for their age. We have Amazon kids tablets for exactly this rea

Transitioning to an iPhone has turned out to be the most regrettable choice I’ve ever made. What initially seemed like an exciting leap into a world of sleek design and modern features quickly unfolded into a frustrating experience filled with limitations and inconveniences.
If you are looking for a child focused device with a lot of parental controls honestly the Kindle Fire Kids edition are much more empowering than ordinary Android experiences. Amazon invested quite a lot into their Kids ecosystem.

Child with no mobility
Hey, Mom to a 20-year-old with severe lifelong physical disabilities. My son has a musical keyboard; It is a Casio light-up keys with prerecorded songs. My son also loves his Fire Kids tablet. If your kiddo isn't delayed then I would just get him a regular tablet but my son is low-functioning so nee

Screen time
I don’t give my son his iPad with a full charge. If I try to take it away or limit him, he melts down.. but if the iPad dies he seems to carry on without skipping a beat.. so I try to give it to him when it’s at 50% charge, then it dies after an hour or 2 and he moves on. He also has the Amazon fire

Is the Amazon fire kids tablet really that bad?
I love the Fire Kids tablets. We have one for each of our kids (3). They come with these bad ass protective bumpers. I imagine the bad reviews are from people who try to use them instead of just letting their kids use them. They are shit if you want to use them for adults because they are not all pu

How do I get my 6 year old away from tablet addiction?
Just couldn't help but think about my own son who is struggling with this! My son also had an Amazon Kids tablet, and there's a setting to limit the screentime. Once it reaches that limit, the tablet automatically shuts down with a friendly warning. I told my son that it was out of my control (I kno

Christmas tablet
Amazon Fire kids tablets are pretty good. They come in a case and you can control what apps are on it. So long as wifi is turned off. And ads and in-game purchases are not available. (Saw them on Amazon for $60 usually $100). It does need a subscription tho. https://share.google/aowljovAoujiofsQS
