I gave my lil sister my old phone... This is how it came back. Now my parents are demanding I give her my tablet.

They should get her an Amazon kids tablet. Cheap($70-100), has a THICK foam protector, and comes with a year of kids Amazon free time. Not sure why they are fine with her just destroying things.

Screen time

I don’t give my son his iPad with a full charge. If I try to take it away or limit him, he melts down.. but if the iPad dies he seems to carry on without skipping a beat.. so I try to give it to him when it’s at 50% charge, then it dies after an hour or 2 and he moves on. He also has the Amazon fire

Christmas tablet

Amazon Fire kids tablets are pretty good. They come in a case and you can control what apps are on it. So long as wifi is turned off. And ads and in-game purchases are not available. (Saw them on Amazon for $60 usually $100). It does need a subscription tho. https://share.google/aowljovAoujiofsQS

My 2½ year old cannot understand anything

I got him one of those Amazon Fire kids tablets for christmas. He has figured out how to use it on his own, and enjoys colourings and tracing shapes. He likes the actual pages of books, but he is rough with them and doesnt like when I read them out loud

Accidents happen. She needs a Kindle Fire Kids, or something that's resistant to falls, until she gets old enough to manage her device.

Tablets

We got my son a tablet when he was 18 months old. The only reason we did is because we were flying across the country to visit family. We bought the Amazon fire kids tablet. It works well and is very durable. Now that I have one, I only let him use it maybe once a month. It was great on an airplane

Do you know of a Tablet that’s basically a DVD player?

I have an Amazon Fire kids tablet for my daughter. I download movies for her to watch. It also allows me to lock the screen so she can't press buttons. The thing is indestructible, too. She stands on it, throws it, and drops it. It still works fine.

Tablet in the car worth it?

We broke down and bought a tablet after doing two trips from Houston to Colorado and back without one. Used it for a drive up to the Chicago area and back, and it was a game changer. I just wish he'd get used to headphones. We have a Fire Kids tablet. We preloaded it with his favored Pooh movies, ep

Omelette Island is missing

Thank you!! This worked! It’s an Amazon fire kids tablet and restarting it fixed the issue. I was afraid to hit the reset button cause I didn’t want to reset all of my daughter’s objects so I’m so glad it worked! I appreciate your help!

Christmas tablet

We've always used the Kindle Fire Kids tablet because I really like the parental controls. You can lock it down really well so that it only has the apps and videos you approve. We have an app for it called "SafeVision" that's 2 or 3 bucks per month, but it limits YouTube to only channels and videos
