The Best Wi-Fi Mesh Networking Systems

Few things are as frustrating as dealing with slow, inconsistent Wi-Fi, especially when a single router struggles to cover an entire home. Whether you're trying to stream in the bedroom or take Zoom calls from the backyard, signal dropouts and sluggish speeds are all too common when one device is ta

Saying goodbye to AirPort after 12 reliable years.

I recently upgraded from Airport Extremes to Eero 7 Max(s)/7 Pros/7 Outdoor all with wired backhaul over a 2.5 Gbps network. I’m very pleased with the results.

Is it too good to be true?

Hey all,

Currently with TalkTalk paying £42 a month for 900 down, 150 up and been happy so far, no issues and got Eero 7 with mesh all setup in the house currently. Contract ends in November and they've offered a renewal of the exact same price.

New to Unifi and having doubts

Hey,

I come from a smaller house where I had Orbi mesh wifi, and I was recommended to install Unifi in my new home that is double the size and has concrete floors.

I installed a UCG-Fiber (with direct FTTH on SFP) and roughly 2 Pro in-Walls per floor. What I notice is that I get excellent speeds w

Wiring Home for Ethernet

I don't know of a service, but I do think its worth saying that a good set of mesh routers will give you an excellent, reliable network if set up properly. I would suggest Nest Wifi Pro, or Eero 7. Especially if you are just using the router the cable company gives you, this would be a much easier f

TP-Link router or ISPs Erro Box

The main differences are that the eero 7 is a Wi-Fi 7 mesh system built for simplicity and ease of use, while the TP-Link AC1750 is an older Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standalone router that is more customizable but offers slower performance. The Eero 7 provides modern performance and a seamless mesh experi

Eero WiFi extender

My neighbor told me yesterday that Frontier offered him an Eero 7 for free as an upgrade from the 6e. I deployed it for him and then seamlessly added the 6e back as a node in the Eero mesh network. Seamless upgrade. Might call them and see if they will offer you a similar deal.

Are there any ISP's that let you control your network?

We use the standard Sky Hub with WiFi turned off and two Eero 7 Pro for mesh WiFi - works very well.

Thanks, just today I replaced my old eero's that were a mix of the original Pro's and a 6 with new 3 pack of eero 7 Pro's that support 5 gig.

Unifi Express 7 + Eero 7 Max?

I have Frontier at my house, my father has it, and my girlfriend has it. Unless they ran out, or are changing policy, you get the Eero Pro 7 with 2 gig & under plans. They only give the Max for 5 gig and over plans. My girlfriend and I got 2 gig plans in the past 5 months and we both got Pro 7. My d
