T-Rex

It's just not the same kind of watch at all. It's a smaller max with more buttons and at the same price. I'm confused about what amazfit was thinking here. And launching it so close to the T-rex ultra 2?

Back then, Amazfit was nowhere in the position to make longer software support. It wasn't as well known and it didn't make as much profit as it is currently doing. Right now, they feel comfortable enough to provide 3 years of updates for the latest watches, as they seem to invest more in their teams

T-Rex Ultra 2. There are no major differences from the T-Rex 3 Pro. It’s just minor tweaks that don’t justify the high price. Same design, same components. I understand that Amazfit needs to sell more watches to make money and keep investing, but there’s very little difference between its watches.

Yep. Amazfit makes Balance 2 - Dealbreaker especially when they provide route planning for it and for the price of T-Rex 3 Pro you can buy Balance 2 with Helio strap which is a beast combo.

Honestly, the Garmin 965 is better than the T-Rex Ultra 2. Amazfit still has some work to do if it wants to compete with Garmin’s high-end watches. I get that the subscription is expensive, but if you buy an Amazfit watch, you have to accept that it’s different…

Now, the only watches over 180€ which is worth its price are Balance 2 and T-Rex 3. T-Rex 3 Pro is highly overpriced not to mention T-Rex 2 ultra. With the decision to provide route planning to Balance 2 Amazfit killed T-Rex 3 Pro.

Amazfit haven't put that much effort into swimming. The auto lap detection It's really good, but everything else is really basic. My Active 2 died a couple of days ago and I almost bought the T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm thinking since it was a more expensive model, it would have more advanced swimming features
