Is the T-Rex 3 Pro that bad?
Actually, this article does a good job of pointing out many of the same concerns users have mentioned here. Amazfit really nails the hardware, but the software still needs work to deliver a smoother overall experience. That said, I don’t have the T-Rex 3 Pro — I use the Balance 2, Active 2, and Heli

Garmin vs Amazfit
Important: only watches from Amazfit, as of today, that are worth anything are T-Rex 3 and Active 2, the other watches have very bad HR sensors. For Garmin, I would prefer the Fenix 7 Pro, Epix Pro Gen 2, or Fenix 8, Enduro 3, as they have the flashlight and Elevate V5 (latest HR sensor from Garmin)

Which Amazfit model?
First of all, there are around 4 watches that you should be concerned about, in my honest opinion: Amazfit Bip 6 Amazfit Active 2 Amazfit Balance Amazfit T-Rex 3 In terms of features and performance, they all do great. NOW, if you want the best value proposition out of all of these: Amazfit Bip 6 Ho

Disappointed in Amazfit (t-rex 3) after 8 months returning to Garmin.
While Garmin provides "insights" on training metrics and stress, it is often completely or partially wrong. Its sleep tracking is also unreliable which leads to wrong all training and body battery metrics in such cases (read: quite often). The most important thing is accuracy of data measured (HR, G

Congratulations, you guys did it!
I am not a professional athlete but I do run at least 4 times a week and T-Rex 3 is an amazing watch for that. The app and how it visualizes your runs is better than Garmins. The data is accurate, and unlike Garmin where sleep tracking was basically unusable (under estimates by a lot) - it actually

The internal battle for tech supremacy
In just a few word : Garmin is way too pricey for what it delivers. I have a fenix 6 Pro and 7X, and a T-Rex 3 + helio ring combo. I miss some navigation features from Garmin, and a most decent readiness scale and body battery. But I prefer amazfit, considering the price point, and what it offers. I

what position level are you and what watch do you wear
Brand new associate, Amazfit T-Rex 3. Need that dual-band GPS so I don't get lost on the way to the coffee machine.

Moved from T-Rex 2 to Active 2
Thanks for being part of the Amazfit family for so long and sticking with us! :) Your point about the T-Rex 2 GPS working faster makes sense, because that device had dual band GPS whereas the Active 2 does not. Also the battery on the T-Rex 2 is nearly double the size compared to the Active 2, and i

Can anyone confirm that there are no WearOS devices with an LED flashlight?
The amazfit t-rex 3 pro does have maps and offline navigation and supports the other stuff you mentioned. I got myself one a few weeks ago coming from a pixel watch 2 and I'm really very happy with it.

My Active 2 arrived today! Tips for a beginner? 🌱
If you deactivate the app you don't receive notifications, keep it active without battery restrictions, it doesn't consume much. Activate notifications only for important apps such as banking and messages, otherwise you will be inundated with useless notifications even on your wrist and it can be an
