If BioCharge and advanced navigation from the Pro version don’t come to the regular T-Rex 3 via updates, I’ll sell mine without hesitation and never touch Amazfit again. A flagship product abandoned just a year after release, limited on purpose by software. Next year T-Rex 4 will come out with new f

Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro

lmao and now amazfit will drop all development on the T-REX 3 That's the issue with buying these "up and coming" Chinese competitors. They drop support whenever they want to. And you're stuck with whatever software version they stopped at. Same with my Xoss Nav bike computer. Shame.

New T-Rex 3 Pro update incoming. Update 3.3.4.1

Yes, Amazfit really disappointed with feature support to standard T Rex 3. They even said that it will receive all features of T Rex 3 Pro but they changed their mind later, or never had that intention and just lied to delay letting down users of standard T Rex 3.

Amazfit, speak to us — what’s the current plan for introducing new features?

Unfortunately for us owners of T-Rex 3 we can only watch how Amazfit developed Helio, Balance 2 and T-Rex 3 pro and just hope that they eventually will bring at least biocharge for us. Sadly I am not such an optimist that it will happen soon.

New update has come for Amazfit Bip 6.

I don't understand the logic of the Amazfit update, the Zeep 5 arrives first on the Bip 6 and nothing for the T Rex 3.

I've got 3 Amazfit watches. Stratos 3, T-Rex Pro and T-Rex 3. The Stratos 3 and T-Rex Pro, both soon after their launch. The Stratos 3 got a few updates within the first couple months, then nothing. The T-Rex Pro got a couple updates within the first month or so, then nothing. They might state a two

No more updates for Amazfit Balance?

Most likely there won't be any future updates. This has always been like this for Amazfit models, unfortunately. Latest when there is a successor, the previous one is abandoned. (See e.g. T-Rex series, both 1 and 2 were abandoned already before their successor appeared)

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Is Like a Cheap Garmin That Doesn't Work

It's hard to disagree with this review. It's quite superficial, but it perfectly reflects the current state of Amazfit watches. They're trying to implement everything possible and pack in as many features as they can, but those features are unfinished and work poorly. The main advantage of the T-Rex

You know what amazes me about Amazfit? Paying more money than their Bip, Active, and Balance lineup, and still not getting Zepp OS 5 and BioCharge on the T-Rex 3—just because they want to maximize profits on their newly released T-Rex 3 Pro.

That's isn't Charity. It's about trusting your supplier. Do you buy from a company that don't give updates for expensive and recently bought gadgets? Even Apple has that Planned Obsolescence thing that authorities charged them for, but give updates for about at least 5 years. So, yes. We bought T-RE

A clear commitment to continuous software support benefits both the company as well as the consumer - Thoughts on the T-Rex 3 software support situation

Not quite. I'm not a fan of product differentiation via arbitrary inclusion or exclusion of software features and sure, Garmins software support isn't the greatest either. Garmins software in general (for now) is more refined though. Also, the T-Rex 3 wasn't Amazfits budget version of a more expensi
