If BioCharge and advanced navigation from the Pro version don’t come to the regular T-Rex 3 via updates, I’ll sell mine without hesitation and never touch Amazfit again. A flagship product abandoned just a year after release, limited on purpose by software. Next year T-Rex 4 will come out with new f

No, rhose features are intentionally left out from T-rex 3. They were vaguely promised but later ignored (Amazfit keeps quiet about it hoping users will forget). It was marketing trick to avoid negative feedback of existing T-rex 3 users who rightfully asked about those features, and to make illusio

Yes, Amazfit really disappointed with feature support to standard T Rex 3. They even said that it will receive all features of T Rex 3 Pro but they changed their mind later, or never had that intention and just lied to delay letting down users of standard T Rex 3.

While I agree that software and map experience can be improved, especially maps detail, POI, saved location handling, etc., I do not agree it is that bad. I am using Garmin Fenix 7 also, and experience with Amazift T-rex 3 is much better, more fluid, customizable, easier to transfer GPX path and nav

You forgot to mention bugs and inconsistencies in algorithm, even crashes when using navigation/routing features. Also, display is fingerprint magnet that makes it less readable in some scenarios. It is good watch but far from final and stable product that competes with big league watches, which mak

Actually, this article does a good job of pointing out many of the same concerns users have mentioned here. Amazfit really nails the hardware, but the software still needs work to deliver a smoother overall experience. That said, I don’t have the T-Rex 3 Pro — I use the Balance 2, Active 2, and Heli

The existence of the Ultra line doesn’t make sense to me. Amazfit watches are good because of their strong price-to-features ratio, you can overlook the drawbacks since they are cheaper than competitors. But "premium" models with the current level of software and especially the length of support are

Long time Garmin user here, Fenix 8 now. I got an T-Rex 3 pro a few weeks ago to test it. I was very surprised by how good it was. I made a list of my own (subjective) pros and cons. I don't list things that are pretty similar, just the differences that mattered to me: Pros amazfit: No forced sleep

Obligatory mention that I do not work for the company, however this is what I know from them. When the T-Rex 3 Pro was released, software updates for the T-Rex 3 non-Pro were stopped. No they haven't. An update was released worldwide March 10 and several others between the release of the T-Rex 3 Pro

Finally a good question! Everyone is hung up on non-important biocharge but main functionality feature such as route creation on a watch and POI search remain ignored. Amazfit has no plans to give those features to T-rex 3 users, although they initially at T-rex 3 Pro release said that they would gi
