I have a Balance 2 and a Coros Pace Pro. Amazfit has improved a lot, but it's still a step below sports-specific watches like Suunto, Garmin, and Coros. I'm talking about the sports aspect. The software still needs a lot of polishing. As for the smartwatch aspect, Amazfit beats all the brands I ment

I have Balance 2. I used it in extreme conditions during my boating holidays. Extreme temperatures, always under the sun and several dives in the sea at depths of meters, repeated during the day. Therefore marine environment and extreme temperatures. A tank and not even a scratch. While my girlfrien

I bought my Fenix almost 3 years ago for 650€. I sold it for 325€ and bought the balance 2 for 275€. I consider it as a good financial operation. I do not fell weird at all. I think that Amazfit is cheaper for several reasons:. Their margin is lower. You don't pay the brand as it is the case for Gar

The $150 price difference between the Amazfit Active 2 Premium and the Balance 2 mostly comes down to hardware, battery life, storage, and premium features. Battery Life: • Balance 2: Up to 21 days with typical use. • Active 2 Premium: Around 10 days typical use. • This is a major advantage if you p

All current Amazfit watches have reliable health/activity tracking, good battery life, stylish design, very good display and a very good price/performance ratio. Given the requirements you mentioned, the Active 2 would also be sufficient. Sure, the Balance 2 is a great watch. But it also costs signi

If you are asking about a stream app, you will not get from Amazfit probably anytime soon. TL;DR: Zepp can't just "buy" Spotify access; they have to build and maintain the app themselves, which costs huge money (DRM/security) that they aren't willing to spend right now. Plus, Spotify doesn't priorit

Truthfully I see the T-Rex Ultra 2 at least on par with the Vertical 2. It offers more features on the smartwatch side of things, certainly. I mean, sure, I get that you can get Amazfit's full feature set for much cheaper, too. But isn't that more of an argument against the Suunto model? For a highe

The Amazfit Balance 2 has the same features as smartwatches from years ago, and even fewer than the Balance. It doesn't have ECG, BIA, arterial stiffness, blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, or carotenoid index... it basically measures the same old stuff. It's disappointing to see a €300 smartwatch

I do. Oh god, this will be a long post. Just bear with me here. Huawei watches are generally solid. However, their update rates outside of Mainland China are not as good. Huawei watches are very stylish and presentable, arguably the best to do it atm. The quality in their build and UI is excellent a

Thanks for that detailed breakdown. I have been using a T-Rex 3 for a year. Just for kicks and giggles, I charged and updated my Apple Watch Ultra, updated it, and used it for two days. It's now boxed up and ready for sale on eBay. I don't need a small iPhone on my wrist. I don't want to be a slave
