How long for new-filter smell to dissipate on the Coway Airmega ProX?
Yeah, I could get 2 x 45i for the same price as 1 x 75i at current sales, and the 2 x 45i would give me more CADR with less noise, since 2 x 45i at speed 1 gives a CADR half-way between speeds 2 & 3 with 1 x 75i (and better coverage, since I could put them at two different locations in my room). Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.
I've wanted Alen for years. Got the 75i and 35i. 35i was fine, but not that impressed with odor removal and I have the ultimate filter. Small kitchen and if I cook a burger, the smell is still there in the morning-even on turbo. 75i makes a knocking sound even on the lowest speed and that is right o

Smart Air Blast Mk II vs. Coway Airmega ProX
I have 2 x full size Blast MKII at home along with few other SmartAir models and I have never had any issue with odours from filters and neither has anyone else in the family. On speed 1, you can barely hear it. Thanks, I do appreciate the data point. But what I really need is to hear from someone w

Smart Air Blast Mk II vs. Coway Airmega ProX
Have you considered a few different smaller units instead of one big unit? It’s a large space and normally you get better coverage and flow from multiple units. It would also keep the noise down because you could run them all on the lower setting. Also a good idea, and yes I did consisder that, sinc

Air purifier to address upper airway resistance during sleep?
That's not what the data shows. I've not tried the Alen, but I've tried several other air purifies, and have found the reviews on Consumer Reports and HouseFresh.com to be accurate. And based on those reviews there are other units that provide less noise for the same clearance rate. Specifically:SPE
