Camera for safety

I have two Akaso EK7000 Pros mounted to the bicycle, one for front and one for rear. You can buy them from Amazon for around the £75 mark usually. For being cheap the quality is pretty good, you get 4K 30fps and decent enough image stabilisation and 90-120 mins run time. The best thing is the batter

Good dashcam-style cameras to cycle with?

Cheaper option - AKASO EK7000 pro. Can record in 60fps/1080p. Cost about £70 from amazon. Lasts about an hour of recording time. Easy to charge/switch batteries. Comes with all attachments whether it’s handlebars or helmet etc.

Best cam on a budget?

If your phone is less than three years old, you likely will get a better video out of that than a sub-$150 action camera. I have a sub-$150 camera, and while it was OK for daytime travel vlogging, it was not so good for running and unsatisfactory for night or low-light video. The stabilization was j

Suggesiton : Budget 20K for Action Camera

20K rupees is a tight budget for a decent camera. $228 in US dollars. You can look at the AKASO line of cameras. I have the EK7000 Pro, and while I would not recommend that model, the camera has been sturdy, reliable, and does a surprisingly good job for the price. You want something that does a bet

Budget action cam for running — need ultra-smooth stabilization (4K60 or 1080p60) under ~$70. Is this realistic?

I have an Akaso EK7000 Pro. Bought it to see if I would really use an action cam or if it was just a fad. Turns out I used it a lot. Stabilization on the camera was only so-so. Even when walking, stabilization was not great. Here's a video of a walking tour and the first two or three minutes are eno

Budget action cam recommendations pls

In my personal opinion, as an owner of an Akaso EK7000 Pro and being a distance runner, you will not get a $100 camera that will be stable enough to produce satisfactory video if your shots are more than a few seconds long. I ended up buying a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, and the difference in stabilizati

Is the Akaso Brave 7 worth it or is there a better value option?

Disclaimer - I am not a Brave 7 owner, but I am an Akaso EK7000 Pro owner. Now that's out of the way, I like the Akasos in general. Mine is sturdy and reliable. I looked at the Brave 7 specs and I'd be a bit reluctant to take it snorkeling without a waterproof case. Akaso sells the Brave 7 with a "D

Help choosing a budget camera

If you want to keep it budget-friendly, AKASO is fine as long as you keep expectations realistic. They usually give you lots of mounts and accessories for the price, which is nice for POV setups like with your chickens, but the app and stabilization can be a bit clunky. For your budget ($100–150), I

[Data] I'm a cyclist. One year ago, I got a helmet camera. Here are all the bad drivers I reported to police [Analysis in Comments]

I've seen the AKASO EK7000 pro recommended here, and elsewhere. Amazon and Ebay have them for around £60. Reviews generally say they're not good and not bad, but well worth £60. Runtime is only 1.5 hours but they do come with 2 batteries!
