Wtf is wrong

You are misunderstanding. AirVPN uses two protocols to work: openvpn and wireguard. Go to the client section on the airvpn website, find the config generator. You can pick airvpn or wireguard. Then download the wireguard or openvpn app (separate from airvpn entirely). Upload that config file that yo

Advise on choosing MacOS client

Eddie has extra features native to AirVPN, such as seeing how many people are on a server and the bandwidth load %, so I'd go with that

Is AirVPN still good?

I'm 10 years into AirVPN. They can still be rather slow. Since all the sad porn hogs in the UK faced ID checks a lot of the server loadings have increased big time. They STILL only have a single Irish server. I've renewed again, ONLY because I trust them never to grass up a customer. But isn't that

Is AirVPN still good?

I joined AirVPN about a month ago, after reading reviews etc for a few days and checking out the specs and how the port forwarding worked. I was sick of my (now previous) provider which I had been with for many years but seems to be unable to keep their servers up for more than a few days now. Shame

Smarter Self-Healing

Recommend AirVPN. Plenty of Canada servers, static IPs, and permanent forwarded ports of your choice (up to 5 of them). u/dowitex - I've added a rudimentary flowchart to the OP.

PLDT refused bridge mode and CGNAT removal on residential plan, any workarounds for homelabs?

I use AirVPN which gives me something like 20 different ports, I think 10 for new users. Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan are all low latency. Even if you get bridged mode, CGNAT will eliminate any possibility of port forwarding. So you need to get off CGNaT if possible. Otherwise consider proxying traf

Is AirVPN still good?

I used air for about a year 2-3 years ago, sadly my country censorship started to block them and they don't seem to support any kind of modern obfuscation so I had to start self hosting vpn, which is annoying cause they constantly block hosting services. Other than that - my experience was mostly gr

Some question about SoulSeek

Use a a vpn that gives you a port like airvpn. So hides your real ip from others and tells your isp to foad. I'd run in a container too isolated from your system. You can always have a vlan for this too if you in a homelab makes sense to have the 24/7 devices seperated from your personal ones.

MaM Appreciation Post

This is why I swaped to AirVPN from PIA. You can pick a single vpn server so that your IP never changes, and you can claim ports for forwarding so that that never changes. Huge upgrade compared to PIA when it comes to MaM. No need for mousehole with this setup. Just need to call the dynamic seedbox
