Weekly Pool Robot Discussion Thread – Questions, Reviews, and Recommendations
I recently did a comparison of the Beatbot Sora 70 and the Aiper Experts Duo pool cleaners and figured I'd share since it'd probably be helpful. Overall both work well. The Beatbot Sora 70 is an all-in-one device and does a decent job all around. It cleans the bottom, sides, and waterline pretty wel

My Pool Robot saga - a true story
Aiper Scuba V3 and Betta skimmer. Catch the leaves before they hit the floor and you’ll be super happy to lose the cord. The Betta makes a huge difference.

Out with the "new" back with the trusted. WYBOT (C2) and pretty much all cordless pool robots are a scam
Auto ai mode is really good. I had a dolphin for 10 years but since they cost 2400 canadian now I bought the Aiper scuba v3 for 1000cdn at Home Depot. The ai cleaning blows the dolphin out of the water with a 3.5 hour runtime. I’m never going back to corded.

My Pool Robot saga - a true story
Last year I went from a dolphin to the Aiper S1, the cheapest cordless they make, to see if cordless would work for me. I was so pleased with the experience that I upgraded to the Scuba V3 this year. It has some actual intelligence to its methods. Does a great job on my 20x42 inground. I do not miss

My Pool Robot saga - a true story
Have you looked at the Scuba V3 ultra? After the WiFi and app issues you ran into, the Aiper setup might be a nice change of pace. A few people I know switched after similar headaches with connected robots and have had better luck . The ultra is a newer upgraded version and I've seen a lot of good t

New pool owner here
I was trying to sort through all the Sora models and bundles too. Spent way more time comparing them than I probably should have. Ended up going with the Aiper Scuba V3 after a few people here mentioned it was a better value. No regrets so far. It handles the floor and waterline well, and I barely h

My Pool Robot saga - a true story
My story is 20k gallon pool. 8 years old with trees above it. Dolphin E10 did well for us but over the last few years fought pool dust like crazy. E10 wouldn’t pick it up so needed to vacuum to waste quite often and still would have it turn green on occasion. This year bought Aiper skimmer and v3 ro

Sora 30 - Initial Impressions
I got rid of my Sora 30 and replace it with Aiper V3 I have a 10’x15’x8” deep Baja shelf and the Aiper gets about 100% of it vs the Sora 30 only gets 15% if that. Sora 30 would freeze up while diving and my pool is only 4’ at deepest.

Glad it worked for you. My experience was the opposite, started with a corded Dolphin cayman. That was the worst product ever : cord kept getting tangled, stopped after 30 min, needed constant monitoring. Switched to Aiper Scuba V3 and so far, it's been a blessing.
