Cord vs cordless robot vacuum
I I recently tested an Aiper cordless pool robot after using our Medtronic dolphin for several years. I don’t know if the Aiper was defective, but the cleaning performance was abysmal compared to the dolphin. The runtime on the batteries was also weak. Again, I’m not sure if it is defective, but I’m

Hunting for a new pool robot, looking for your thoughts
My first robot was the Maytronics Nautilus CC plus. Lasted two years and would have been fairly easy to fix. It worked great, picked up loads of debris and climbed walls like nobody's business. I decided to "upgrade" to the Nautilus CC Supreme. Didn't climb walls well at all and died after a year. I

Anyone recommend Aiper Cordless pool cleaners?
I bought the Aiper Seagull Pro ( 2023 Upgrade ) in July 2023 and loved it. However, it was recalled because the battery could catch fire and the replacement was the Scuba S1 which is awful. That is why I am on here searching and it seems I am not the only one having this problem.

I'm considering buying an aiper pool robot, worth it?
New pool owner and I loved my robots -- (skimmer and S1), problem was not how they worked but after two warranty claims and 1 recall the replacement unit died and got zero support. Would recommend something other than aiper.

Anyone have any experience with the Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Cleaner?
I have found Aiper pool products to be unreliable. In September (2025) I purchased 3 of their devices; the Aiper Surfer S2 solar skimmer ($370), the HydroComm Series ($280) solar thermometer/water testerWiFi device and the Scuba X1 Pro Max ($1,600). The HydroComm failed after a couple of months. Eve

Cleaning robots
To be honest I'm looking for the same. My first robot was a Nautilus CC and I really think it was the best but it only lasted 2 years and I realize now that is pretty good. Second one was the Nautilus CC plus and the cord burned up after a year and it was out of warranty. That aggravated me. My curr

Can I use these kinds of robots for Intex pools?
Worth mentioning that I just had to send my Aiper back after only 10 months of ownership. Stopped working and I got a high battery temp alert. Front light was flashing erratically and eventually the unit just completely died. Sent it back and hoping for the best but I sure did not get much use out o

Got an Aiper Surfer S2 It's doing a better job than the Betta
Just one thing be warned, can’t speak for the s2 but surfer s1 stopped working after 1 year and 3 weeks, so now out of warranty and Aiper wants 350 to repair it. I also have a scuba s1 that broke down, thankfully this one only after 6 months so they repaired for free. Both units had battery failure

New Aiper Seagull Pro from Recall?
My Seagull Pro was working fine for nearly 2 years (bought in July 2023). I sent it for a recall and it took it a while for me to get the Aiper scuba s1 as a replacement. I finally got it and the scuba worked great, for 4 months. It died and I'm told it's out of warranty. I supposed because they are
