best speakers for DJing and producing

I’ve got the Adam Audio T8V’s and they are great for mixing and dabbling in production. If you have a small room the T5V’s might do, but I love drum and bass so the 8’s forgo the need for a sub. I’ve had to treat the corners of my room though as my room is on the small side.

Judge my Setup, what can be improved?

Speakers i currently own: Adam Audio A8H Adam Audio T8V Edifier S3000pro Triangle comète 40th anniversary Edition Wharfedale Super Linton I used them as main monitors in my old desk Setup. Clearly the most resolving thing in my house and you could easily dial them in on your preferences via dsp and

2.1 Speakers for PC (~1000€)

As far as I can tell, your old system (specifications) claimed that the speakers (3-inch; 87dB/W/m; ~130Hz@-3dB) each delivered 62W and the subwoofer (10-inch; 88dB/W/m; 35Hz@-3dB) delivered 188W, thereby covering a frequency range down to 33Hz@-6dB. However, a weakness in the system was that there

Focal Alpha, Adam Audio...

In Europe, I would recommend Adam Audio, even if you would benefit from a subwoofer given the size of the room. Without a subwoofer, the Adam T8V (~€450) would be the logical choice. It should be noted that these speakers cannot achieve a club level of 100dB in the room without audible distortion.

Good enough?

I’m 34 and I’m happy with my systems. The one I have on the tv are Polk R200 bookshelf speakers and XT12 sub on a Yamaha RX-A4A receiver and it’s fantastic to listen to all music. It gets louder than I can play it, but even at respectful neighbor volumes it fills the space and it’s a physical experi

Monitors vs. Live Sound?

I would stay more in the studio monitor lane. Something with an 8” woofer like the Yamaha HS8 with the sub or Adam Audio T8V. OR if you want to go the PA route, you could potentially pick up a used Bose L1 for under 1k. I would stay away from a point source in a small room, the column arrays tend to
