I’m loving my upgraded battle station!

The speakers on the right are Adam audio t8v. They have a tiny amount of hiss when turned on, but nothing more than I would expect from any active monitor, and nothing that bugs me while listening to them.

Getting it right the first time isn't possible, but I want to get as close as I can within my budget.

I would recommend a Wiim ultra streamer and ADAM Audio T8V 8-inch Powered Studio monitors. The wiim has hdmi arc for your tv and a phono stage. The adam will provide a big sound from a small speaker.

Focal Alpha, Adam Audio...

In Europe, I would recommend Adam Audio, even if you would benefit from a subwoofer given the size of the room. Without a subwoofer, the Adam T8V (~€450) would be the logical choice. It should be noted that these speakers cannot achieve a club level of 100dB in the room without audible distortion.

R/7-9 or M27 ?

I love my R9. No regrets. For both listening through active monitors (AdamAudio T8v) and my Hifiman He1000 stealth.

Need advice - good interface?

I've had this unit for quite a few years, and it worked well with my original equipment configuration, which was pretty simple (microphones, electric guitar and bass, Roland GP-10). I was using a MIDI keyboard controller with Logic Pro for keyboard parts and monitoring volume through my Mac. One thi

T8V Adam Audios Keep Cutting Out Hello all, bought a pair of the T8Vs and I'm having some issues. I use a focusrite solo and when i set the adams level to 0db, the max interface volume is not very loud. On the other hand, if I do turn up the Adam levels to get a louder sound, they start cutting off

My Gaming Setup

Appreciate that! Once you go OLED you can never go back. For speakers, there are a few recs I usually give out. Adam Audio D3V are great desktop speakers and one of the few with USB input. Moving up, Kali LP-6 v2 are $500 for a pair, neutral and detailed There is also Adam Audio T5v or the larger si

Do I need a amp if I get a reciver

In the golden days when tubes were everywhere we had radiograms and stereograms in large pieces of furniture. When we started to get transistors and integrated circuits in the late 60 and 70s we got separate amplifiers to turntables. Pre-amp with power amps were very rare due to the price and would

Guitar amp vs amp sim with monitors

I don't think those Sphere speakers are available on a 700 dollar budget though. Also, the speakers that make up a PA system are entirely different than near field monitor speakers that you want to use in a home/desktop setting. Nearfield speakers are meant to accurately represent audio to the liste
