Forget about bluetooth for decent studio monitors. Bluetooth is for party speakers. I highly recommend Adam Audios, I have the T7V's for years and I will never change. I second Adam Audio. I don't have personal experience with the D3V's but I do use their T7V's as my primary speakers for freelance video production and hobbyist music-making and have been extremely happy. I hear nothing but good things about the D3V for their size and price point.

Adam audio T7V monitors or if everyone's asleep Beyerdynamic DT1770 headphones. Prefer the monitors because I get headphone fatigue pretty quick. My plan for live band situation (not really on the radar at the moment) would be a Yamaha DHR12M.

If Icue eq isn't doing it, EqualizerAPO is a cool free program with a lot of eq and compressor options. I use Adam Audio T7V's and Beyer Dynamic DT770 pros and it's fine on both.
