Small/desk speakers to start DJing at home — worth going bigger for future use?
Adam D3V were going for 250€ in black week. More than enough for a desktop application. USB-C connection, so no audio interface needed. But also has 1/4 inch inputs. More clear, analytic sound thanks to the ART tweeters, but surprising bass response from these small guys. Many reviews on YouTube.

Looking for a good set of pc speakers for around $200-$300
I personally have no experience with the D3V, but I am familiar with Adams T series and the A series and believe that they offer good value for money. In my opinion, the D3V delivers good measurement results (Adam; EAC). It is clear that, for its size and intended use, it is a linear loudspeaker wit

WFH Station 2025
For small rooms I can really recommend the Adam Audio D3V. It's what I have and they have really good clarity at low volumes.

At what point does audio quality stop improving and just start exposing your soul?
This usually starts around 3K for the speakers. It's mostly directivity and lower distortion levels across the frequency spectrum. At 10K for speakers you enter gagaland - special speakers that look beautiful - but not better than a good Genelec setup. Mostly not even measured in. Because EQ = the d

What speakers would you suggest for at home djing?
Depending on Budget and how much room u have for them. I think it’s about monitoring not a speaker system for audience. I wanted something small therefore I went for the Adam audio d3v. They are great in any way! If budget isn’t a problem consider Genelec or IK Media. If space isn’t a problem go for

Active speakers for desktop computer, laptop and TV? Help me choose.
Adams Audio D3V USB and small for desktop use. Other choices in the spreadsheet at http://www.mcmullon.com/activespeakers.ods with specifications and dimensions. However to connect a TV then HDMI input is easier as volume control remote on TV changes the speakers. Line out and fibre optic with a con

Active monitors for home DJs?
A bit above your stated price range, but the Adam Audio D3V are remarkably good for their price & size for near field listening. Down the road you can always augment with a sub.

I’m tired of wearing a headset 24/7. Want to switch to external speakers. Are "Gaming Soundbars" actually good or just a gimmick?
Check out the Adam Audio D3V, they have fantastic imaging even without having to fuzz too much with placement and height. They’re great with just the included stands, which is rare.
