K3 Max All Wood Special Edition (birthday gift from girlfriend)
Adam Audio D3V They are pretty much recording studio monitors with a flat frequency response. They don't "cheat" to make poorly recorded tracks sound better so if the recording is crap it will sound like crap, they will reveal flaws in audio production. They are not tuned like audiophile or gaming s

Looking for a good set of pc speakers for around $200-$300
I personally have no experience with the D3V, but I am familiar with Adams T series and the A series and believe that they offer good value for money. In my opinion, the D3V delivers good measurement results (Adam; EAC). It is clear that, for its size and intended use, it is a linear loudspeaker wit

Opinions on Adam Audio D3V for production/mixing/mastering?
I did have a look at the A4V's but they're quite a bit more expensive than the D3V's. 2x the price if secondhand, 3x the price if new. Also, just on a quick glance online, the frequency response seems flatter on the D3V's [based on Adam Audio's website]. Thank you for the response though, I'm leanin

When it comes to studio monitors, is more better?
It is not a bad idea to compare on different headphones and speakers because people will be listening on a variety. iLoud MTM MKII vs. Neumann KH 80 DSP for traveling setup?
iLoud and Adam Audio D3V are pretty damn small with a flat response and remarkable bass response. Either are good for travel with a limited space requirement

Budget portable 4”/5” monitors to produce music
I had the eris and wasn't particularly impressed, though they were better than my Mackie 3.5 and M-Audio 3.5. Adam Audio D3V or iLoud Micros are flatter and better, though admittedly more. Can't complain about Presonus price tag.

Speakers for Juno D6?
Scroll to around 4 minutes in this video, and you'll see Erin's measurements of them. Very well measuring speaker for the size and price. I have a pair with synthesizer downstairs in my house. Adam, the manufacturer, has some refurbished ones for a discount https://us.adam-audio.com/products/d3v-ref

Yeah, you really have to spend over $300 to get decent monitors. Usually $400. But iLoud micros and Adam Audio D3V can give you a flat response for less.
