Small/desk speakers to start DJing at home — worth going bigger for future use?
Adam D3V were going for 250€ in black week. More than enough for a desktop application. USB-C connection, so no audio interface needed. But also has 1/4 inch inputs. More clear, analytic sound thanks to the ART tweeters, but surprising bass response from these small guys. Many reviews on YouTube.

Looking for a good set of pc speakers for around $200-$300
I personally have no experience with the D3V, but I am familiar with Adams T series and the A series and believe that they offer good value for money. In my opinion, the D3V delivers good measurement results (Adam; EAC). It is clear that, for its size and intended use, it is a linear loudspeaker wit

What’s everyone’s favorite speakers?
Adam D3V studio monitors were released recently and they would be my first choice. Amazing bass in a compact speaker. Extremely accurate and neutral. I'm really into audio and these are great bang for buck. Check out erins audio corner youtube channel for the most thorough analysis you've ever seen

Speakers for a laptop
I bought a pair of Adam Audio D3V a few months ago for music listening plugged into Mac Mini M4 via USB with 3-foot listening distance on desk. I'm very satisfied with sound quality especially bass without a sub. Sound stage and imaging are amazing too.

I only have an hour today. Shame me for plugin it in to $50 Monitors off of Craigslist.
I had D3V. Super happy withe them. Amazing sound, decent lows. Great value for money. If you can afford something at a higher price even better. Imo there's a difference in audio quality between Yamaha and ADAM.

Edifier S880DB MKII vs Kanto ORA4 vs ADAM Audio D3V
specs on spreadsheet www.mcmullon.com/activespeakers.ods might narrow the choice. I have seen kef eggs go for 175GBP, but Adams Audio D3V have more bass. I used B&W MM-1 which o got for £125 off eBay.

Krk rpg2 rockit 5s worth it used for 150?
Maybe save for ADAM Audio D3V or get some ProSonus Eris for the price of used Krokit . Eris are not amazing but they are good enough to do something with. Detailed just not the best full range reproduction when it comes to lows (and possibly too bright in highs) or use headphones like beyers, shure,

Which one do you prefer?
I realy like setup 1. But I also think your speakers are to big. Maybe take a look at Adam Audio D3V. They cost around 300 Euros but for what they are its ok. They sound realy good and in my opinion they dont need an extra Sub.
