Will Linux Mint work well with my Acer Swift model?
Acer Swift 3 SF314-42-R6Y1 (Pure Silver) 14in FHD IPS Ryzen 5 4500U/8GB/512GB SSD/Win10 w/ Office H&S 2019 So yes, assuming they don't have problems with the WiFi. Apparently has the Intel AX200 so should be good to go.

Learn from my mistake: NEVER buy an Acer laptop for Linux use.
I'd be asking for a warranty replacement. I have used many Linux distros on my Acer Swift SF314-42 and it's been absolutely flawless. Currently running Fedora 42 with no issues.

Need help choosing a laptop
I'm a CS student and I have an Acer Swift 3 that I bought like 3 years ago, It works very well, and I use It for studying, gaming, and even 3d using blender, the performance is still amazing, the price was exactly 10m when I bought it (New with emballage etc)

Acer laptop does not properly sleep after Windows updates
Not sure if you’re still looking for a solution, but I was finally able to solve mine (also Acer Swift SF314-42, diff model) by updating bios from V1.08 to V1.11. By then I’d already tried everything from updating drivers to changing power plans
