A bottom-tier one? Sure. But you're comparing a $250 monitor to a $800-1400 one. A top-tier Mini-LED suffers from none of the problems you mentioned. You get what you pay for, and you should be comparing products in the same price range as the OLEDs. I have a PG32UQX and the local dimming algorithms

What do you mean? The Acer XV275K is a 27" 4k IPS Mini-LED, a really good one at that too. Excellent ergonomics, external power brick, very little blooming (you have to pretty much be looking for it to notice it), excellent motion handling. Can do up to 644 nits in SDR and up to 1725 nits in HDR and

I'm not really into the newest IPS monitors but for your use case probably going for a mini led while not needed, would be a huge improvement over the typical fast ips. Around 1500 led zones is the average new mini led monitor amount. So, maybe going for the Acer Nitro XV275K P3biipruzx, for the INN

Dont go for OLED if main goal is coding. Text clarity is just ok at 4k and even worse at 1440p. Look for mini led for a compromise like Acer Nitro XV275K although its 27 inch. A used neo G7 would cost around 40k and would be decent as well. If you want OLED MSI MAG 321up has gone on sale around 65-7

Since you’re doing things with a risk of long term static images, I’d avoid OLED but go MiniLED. I wholeheartedly recommend this monitor for use if in the US. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/acer-nitro-xv275k-27-4k-uhd-miniled-320hz-1ms-freesync-premium-gaming-monitor-with-hdr1000-usb-type-c-display

Acer XV275K. It's probably the best 27" 4k Mini-LED monitor. Here's the review for the older model (P3), the new one (P5) has 1152 dimming zones: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/nitro-xv275k-p3biipruzx

(Canada) I recommend XV275K P5. It is by far the cheapest 4K mini led monitor on the market right now (at least in Canada). Everything else goes for 750 plus. It is the updated version of XV275K P3, which reviewed pretty well on Rtings. Incidentally P3 is also available on CC, but it's older and cos

Hey! Fair point. I did not say what I didn't like about the other monitors. I'll list the monitors and why i did not like it: ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM - Out of my budget Dell S3225QC - Also out of my budget These seem to be OLED 4K, unfortunately out of my budget --------------------------------

I have not owned that monitor. I've owned a VA panel before, the Acer Z321QU, and it was great. No smearing or ghosting. The Rtings review mentions there is some smearing but no ghosting: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/aoc/q27g3xmn. There is a newer model of it in the market as well, the Q27
