Aspire 3

The Intel Core i7-14650HX is a tremendous high-performance 14th-generation CPU, but the integrated graphics, despite using Iris Xe architecture (actually), has 80 disabled cores (leaving only 16, hence the name Intel UHD Graphics 770), and operating at 1600MHz (a small factory overclock of 350MHz).

We just loaded it onto an absolutely rubbish Acer Aspire 3 and it works heaps better. Worth trying.

Definitely doesn't need to be a gaming laptop, my wife uses an acer aspire 3, it's good for gaming/work a lot cheaper than one specific for gaming, unless you plan to play more demanding games from steam & other launchers. ugh that wobble would drive me nuts honestly. i had a similar issue with a different brand and being down a work laptop for weeks is rough. what helped me was grabbing something cheap as a temporary backup while the replacement ship. something like the Acer Aspire 3 gets the job done for basic work
