[Leak] Steam Controller Pre-Orders coming soon. Available for $99.
Can’t say I’m surprised, but this price definitely changes things from “insta-buy” to “thinking about it” for me. I’m already really happy with my 8BitDo Ultimate controller and I don’t dock my Steam Deck often

Walmart find
Well this is an officially licensed controller, but make no mistake, it is NOT made by Nintendo. This is made by PDP. Nothing wrong with it, but they tend to feel a bit cheap. Other 3rd party controller manufacturers make much more solid products (8bitdo, Gulikit, Flydigi, GameSir are all highly reg

Review: 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless after 1 month
No you didn't unfortunately. I have an 8bitdo ultimate controller and the usb dongle disconnects ALL the time on both my steam deck and my main PC. Everything else about the controller is amazing but that gets super annoying really quick.

What are the best handheld devices for ultra low latency?
You have eliminated all of the legitimate options, and sadly, there aren't a whole lot else with an OLED and 120hz. There is the Odin 2 Portal and the Ayaneo Pocket Evo, both of which have an OLED screen. The Pocket Evo has 120hz display, along with a Snapdragon 8 series chipset which along with the

Pro 3 vs Pro 2 vs Ultimate 2; anyone own all 3?
The Pro 3 has the same clicky dpad has the Ultimate C. The Pro 3 dpad is a downgrade from the great Pro 2 dpad. You have to be very deliberate to do shoryukens on the Pro 3 and accuracy is much worse than Pro 2. Pro 3 dpad is too stiff, too clicky, false diagonals, lack of pivot, and fatiguing. It's

What controllers would be the best
8BitDo makes some great controllers, but once you get used to the Steam Deck's trackpad, paddles, and gyro-aiming, you're proabbly going to miss them. I would wait until the Steam controller comes out, or just get the cheap 8BitDo Ultimate controller (cheaper than the pro controller but great for th

Frequent frame drops on Steam Deck (Moonlight + Vibepollo)
Never mind, it worked! I just unpaired everything and then pair again and now it works. I've played for 10 minutes on my phone, using an 8bitdo Ultimate controller and the frame rate didn't drop even once. So Steam Deck is the issue with frames dropping.
