Steam Controller Priced at $149 CAD

Sorry if this the wrong sub to ask this question, but why even buy the Steam controller if you aren't going to use the touch pads? For me that's the selling point, but if I didn't need the touch pads I would just stick to an 8bitdo ultimate 2, way more affordable and plenty of paddles/buttons.

What would you say is your best Steam Deck accessory and why?

I recently just got an 8bitdo Utimate 2 Wireless controllers and I didn't know it will be so good. I used to play with the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro and although it works fine, the TMR joysticks and charging dock included in the Ultimate 2 Wireless are truly the gamechangers.

I've had the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 since July, it's been nothing but a great pro controller. I've always wanted an SN30 pro, copped one and now I can play with 4 players on my switch Oled with friends and family. This SN30 Pro looks hella coool. Steam Controller review slips embargo, controller to cost $99

I went back to a post i saw about the controller bein $100 or more, and most of the comments were basically saying "first party controllers are usually overpriced, valve won't price their controller like that, that's why it'll be cheaper" with a lot of people suggesting it'll be $50 to $60. It's kin

Considering getting a controller to use with Steam games. What are the pros and cons of the various types?

8BitDo makes a super solid controller for an unbeatable price. I have am Ultimate 2C and while I tend to prefer KBM in most games, it works fantastically for games that really need a controller. It's a major upgrade from the old 360 controller I was using. Biggest selling point for me was the price.

Just wanted to share my setup :)

Last night, I asked if it's better to use a ctrller for E33, and most of you said yes — kaya ayun, I bought one (8BitDo Ultimate 2) para mas ma-enjoy ko yung game. 😄

Share ko na rin yung setup ko for work/studying/gaming hehe

Boost on rb got me breaking rbs

First-party Xbox controllers are the worst for this. I was going through a controller every 1-2 months because of this as well. I ended up switching to 8bitdo and now I have the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 and I can't recommend it enough.
