I went back to a post i saw about the controller bein $100 or more, and most of the comments were basically saying "first party controllers are usually overpriced, valve won't price their controller like that, that's why it'll be cheaper" with a lot of people suggesting it'll be $50 to $60. Super cute 8BitDo controller

So, I ended up getting my first non 'function over form' controller - an 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight. It's so pretty.

It's also a *very* solid controller - it's probably on par with my Razer Wolverine V3 at less than half the price (only $70). Very happy with this controller

What's the best controller money can buy?

Can you guys help me choose a gamepad for a newbie?

Solid advice, especially the part about native steam input support. Gamesir/flydigi/etc don't have that. The 8bitdo Ultimate 2 uses 2.4ghz which can be more reliable than Bluetooth.
