8bitdo Ultimate 2 has been amazing for me so far

You can use any Bluetooth, USB, or 2.4ghz dongle controller that can connect to a PC. If you want something like the steam controller but don't care for the touchpads, the 8bitdo ultimate 2 seems pretty good (don't personally have it but I have the pro 2 and it's really good as well)

I've got the 8bitdo ultimate and it's great, and I've heard good things about the ultimate 2. I'd go with that one.
