8bitdo pro 3 trigger quality

I was in the middle of playing a game once I heard something drop to the floor and realized the right trigger had fallen off. I liked this controller but this kind of quality seems very low. Never had this happen for any of my controllers. Is this common or am I the first one managed to do this :D

Pro 3 fell from couch, face buttons flew right off

I know people have been concerned about how well the magnetic face buttons in the pro 3 would be at staying in and it just happened to me. Fell off the arm rest of my couch and the buttons all popped off and were found about a foot from the controller. Thankfully no damage to the buttons or the cont

What if Logitech actually made a real gamepad in 2026?

I own a lot of 8bitdo products but they haven't been as good lately imo, i have the pro 3 and all of the standard caps broke down, there's also some minor bugs on controller wakeup, etc.

WHy do i have to use a dongle? (8bitdo Ultimate 2 wireless)

Idk why 8bitdo went backwards with their newer controllers the Pro 2 (PlayStation layout) was perfect but now the Pro 3 and all the ultimate controllers have dongles and non removable batteries and charging docks and are more expensive.

Ultimate 2C sticks are rough and getting stuck

the 2C is actually not very good quality, I love other 8bitdo stuff like the pro 3 but the 2C is cheaply made because it's priced so low

Should I buy the Steam Controller for gyro or are there better options?

I’ve tried a few controllers with gyro on Rivals (Dual sense, dual sense edge, 8bitdo pro 3, Nintendo pro controller, and steam deck gyro) and the Steam Deck’s gyro has always felt a bit better than all my other controllers with the least amount of configuration and it is my preferred way to use gyr

does anyone know if the 8bitdo lite se 2.4g for xbox will work with the steam deck or not? sorry im not familiar with controllers stuff

huh I have 7 8bitdo controllers and 1 keyboard. only problems I had was the pro3 buttons cracking (which is a known issue) and the 2 oldest ones having their analog stick tops crumbling, easy fix with stick covers. connection wise never had any issues with any of them

Switch 2 Pro Controller Discomfort?

I’m not using game chat or amiibo at the moment, but it’s a shame not being able to have those functions if I need it down the line. I’m considering an 8bitDo Pro 3 since I like the PlayStation layout, but for some reason it’s a got a weird ”shake to wake” function for the Switch 2 where you gotta p

$99, no idea why anyone thought this would be $70. It's cheaper than other controllers that have less inputs and still use potentiometers.

Depends on the user. For gyro gamers if they wanted touch activated gyro the only options have been dualsense with conductive tape mod or alpakka. Alpakka runs over $100 with 3d printed parts while dualsense if you also want grip buttons runs $200. Lot of the controllers people point to haven't been
